1. Ethiopia

‘Ethiopia is an up-and-coming destination for adventurous travellers’, says Luxury Escapes’ Head of Tours, Sonia Pilovska who notes that the country offers a very different touring experience to the safaris of the rest of Africa. Luxury Escapes’ Head of Flights, Hayden Wallace, has seen a rise in more and more travellers wanting to book flights to Hawaii as an alternative to Bali. Aussies are swapping Seminyak and Kuta for Waikiki and Maui with this sunny state located just a few extra hours away for most. With their love of falcons, it’s no surprise that the locals of Abu Dhabi have set up a Falcon Hospital where poorly birds can receive some medical attention. Tours of the hospital are popular and visitors can enjoy a special meet and greet with these majestic creatures.
