The Best Restaurants in Fiji for Seafood, Sunsets & Local Flavour

Indo-Fijian curries, Japanese omakase, Lebanese mezze under sail – this is what's on the table in Fiji.

Fiji sits at the crossroads of Melanesian, Indian and Pacific cultures – and the food has absorbed all of it. The archipelago has quietly produced one of the South Pacific‘s most interesting dining scenes, where a teppanyaki hut on a private island sits an hour’s boat ride from a smokehouse feeding construction workers and Survivor film crews alike.

Add an abundance of day-fresh seafood, resorts with serious culinary ambitions, and a handful of independent restaurants punching well above their weight, and there’s a strong case that you should be planning your Fiji trip around the food.
