A three-in-one resort with arguably one of the best hotel buffets in the world: welcome to Mulia Bali.

Here’s everything you need to know for your next visit to this multi-award-winning mega-resort on Nusa Dua's beachfront.

1. It’s a three-in-one resort: The Mulia, Mulia Resort & Mulia Villas

When you plan a stay at the Mulia complex, you actually have three incredible options to choose from: The Mulia, Mulia Resort and Mulia Villas. While all guests will have access to the resort’s incredible five-star facilities (including nine restaurants and bars, four pools and Mulia Spa), there are some distinct differences between the accommodation on offer.

At The Mulia, you have a choice of three suites, all regal in name and nature: The Marquess Suite, The Earl Suite or The Baron Suite. Noble décor, stunning dual chambers and indulgent entertainment settings make for a royally special stay. Our tip: choose a beachfront suite for uninterrupted Indian Ocean Views.

At Mulia Resort, you have the choice of five distinct rooms and suites. Mulia Grandeur is a sophisticated room with garden views, while the Mulia Signature offers a choice of ocean views or lagoon access. For ultimate indulgence, stay in a Royal Suite, Premier Suite or The Duke Suite – all promising tropical views and sumptuous living and sleeping spaces.

Ultimate privacy is guaranteed with a Mulia Villas stay. Secluded pathways and tranquil gardens lead to a haven that combines intimate settings with luxurious amenities, transcending conventional villas in Bali. Your very own luxury villa is an intimate sanctuary with a hydrotherapy pool, day bed and spacious terrace, set within lush landscapes. Whether honeymooning or travelling with family, you’ll find a villa to suit.

2. Guests of The Mulia & Mulia Villas get exclusive access to The Lounge

If you're staying at The Mulia or Mulia Villas, an added bonus is access to The Lounge. This exclusive space offers à la minute breakfast with breathtaking views of the Oasis Pool and Indian Ocean. Return to The Lounge for cocktails and hors d'oeuvres during afternoon tea time, accompanied by an acoustic musical performance. Cosy and intimate, it's the ideal place to retreat to when you're seeking that extra level of exclusivity and privacy.

3. Mulia Bali buffets are out of this world

Hotel buffets will never be the same after you’ve experienced Mulia’s. Each station at The Cafe is dedicated to preparing authentic cuisines from selected regions. Fresh sashimi and sushi rolls, Chinese barbequed duck and pork, tasty tom yum goong at the Southeast Asian station, exotic butter chicken and naan from the Indian section, à la minute pasta in the Western corner... it’s a foodie’s dream come true.

The dessert section is a true pinch-yourself experience: the finest chocolate cascades down fountains, ready to smother fresh fruit; homemade ice cream and sorbets are served up by the dozen and heavenly cakes and mousses are finely prepared by the in-house pastry chefs.

The elegant Table8 provides a lavish setting for its decadent Cantonese and Szechuan cuisine. Enjoy an all-you-can-eat buffet with Asian delicacies prepared at live cooking stations, including a soup corner, dim sum, dumplings and more.

4...and the à la carte dining and bars are incredible

Unbelievably, an incredible seven additional restaurants and bars are on hand to offer yet more culinary indulgence. At Soleil, Mediterranean and Pan-Asian flavours are served in a blissful beachfront setting. If you’re in the mood for fine-dining Japanese, Edogin has you covered with a sumptuous selection of sushi, sashimi and teppanyaki. Cascade Lounge is the place to be for cocktails and high tea, while Mulia Deli makes the best flaky French pastries.

If you’re in the mood for drinks at The Mulia Bali, head to The Bar for a cosy ambience, Sky Bar for tapas and cocktails with a view, or ZJ’s Bar for sleek nightclub vibes.

5. Mulia Spa is the wellness sanctuary of your dreams

We recommend setting a whole day aside for pure pampering at Mulia Spa. This is your ticket to delightful wellness oblivion: book a treatment, relax in the Finnish saunas and meditative steam rooms, switch between the ice rooms and hot and cold hydrotherapy pools, and discover the therapeutic benefits of chromotherapy and aromatherapy. A Mulia Spa Journey Package is the best way to discover it all – soothe your mind and soul with options such as a Detox Immersion or Holistic Therapy package.

6. Five incredible pools await at The Mulia Bali

Guests staying at The Mulia Suites and Mulia Villas will have exclusive access to the iconic Oasis Pool – you'll instantly recognise the towering statues standing sentinel around the shimmering blue waters.

All guests, including those at Mulia Resort, can make use of four further pools. There’s the aptly named Ocean Pool, steps from the Indian Ocean and Geger Beach; Ladies Courtyard, adorned with female statues carrying flowers that symbolise the daily prayers and rituals of Bali; Courtyard Pool, located at the heart of the resort, and kids’ favourite Splash Pool, with fun water fountains and play equipment.

7. Mulia Kidz and T-Zone will keep little ones entertained for hours

Little guests are no afterthought at The Mulia Bali: at Mulia Kidz, children between three and eight are kept entertained with a huge range of activities. Whether your little ones prefer dancing, drawing, movie time or kids’ yoga; there’s something on the schedule to suit. They can even get into the local spirit with Balinese dance and bracelet-making.

Kids aged 9-15 will find their version of fun at T-Zone, where a dedicated program covers every hobby imaginable. Arts and crafts, pool games, poker, juggling, trivia and limbo contests are just a small selection of the inventive activities your older kids can enjoy.
