Pullman Khao Lak Resort is a five-star beach escape shaped for holidays with more than one rhythm. Start the morning among local Thailand flavours, spend the warmest part of the day between Bang Muang Beach and a free-form pool, and let the evening turn towards seafood and Thai massages.
The resort’s design has roots in Phang Nga
Pullman Khao Lak’s setting has a strong local point of view. The resort sits on Bang Muang Beach, but its identity reaches beyond the shoreline: its architecture draws on Phang Nga’s Sino-Portuguese heritage, with handcrafted local materials that reflect the area’s culture and nature.
Enjoy contemporary rooms, family suites and pool villas, and the water and palms keep the coast in view. Early mornings suit a coffee and a slow look around; later, the beach becomes the simplest plan of all.
The pool and beach make an easy centre to the day
A 1,000-square-metre free-form pool gives the day an easy centre. Swim a few lengths, settle by the water or make for the gently sloping sand at Bang Muang Beach. When the sun starts to lower, the seafront gives you somewhere to walk before dinner, with the Andaman Sea still in view.
It’s a simple rhythm, but one that works especially well when your group wants a mix of activity and downtime.

Move from home-style Thai food to seafood by the sea
At Plai Dining Room, the menu moves from home-style Thai cuisine to international favourites; the open-style kitchen keeps the cooking in view. For an evening by the water, Kram Beach Club shifts the mood towards light bites and fresh seafood, with the Andaman beyond the tables. Its menu also draws on international flavours and seafood from local fishermen.
The two venues make dining feel like part of the setting, rather than a decision you need to plan around. Step out for lunch, pause at The Junction for a coffee or later espresso martini, then settle into Kram as day gives way to night.

Kids have more than one place to burn off energy
For families, the standout is scale: Kids’ Playground has more than 1,000 square metres of indoor and outdoor play areas. There’s a wet zone with water spouts, a tipping bucket and a slide, plus a playground, games, books, creative activities and a cinema room. Children aged four to 12 can take part in its programme; younger children have a separate smaller water-play area.
That gives children plenty to return to, whether they want to burn off energy in the water zone or wind down with a film. The main pool, beach and family-focused room categories add more choice for parents, so the holiday can work around different ages and energy levels.

Rosalyn Spa and Takua Pa offer a quieter change of scene
Rosalyn Spa offers a calmer counterpoint. There’s a treatment room dedicated to traditional Thai massage, a Vichy shower room for hydrotherapy, and a couple’s room with a private pool; steam facilities are available before or after treatments. It’s an easy way to set aside a quieter part of the day, then return to the beach at dusk.
To see more of Phang Nga, take a trip to Takua Pa Old Town. On Sundays, its cultural street runs between Sino-Portuguese shophouses, with local food, crafts, performances and street art. It offers a window into the town’s tin-mining history and the community that still uses its old streets.
A visit to both Takua Pa Old Town and Kram Beach Club shows how varied a Khao Lak stay can be: one evening among local food and old shophouses, another with the sea beside you.
