Meet Casa de Sada, the Algarve’s Hottest New Beachfront Hotel

Two sea-view pools, beachfront dining and golden sand on the doorstep make Casa de Sada Potugal’s new name to know.

The Algarve’s hottest new opening has claimed a prime spot on the seafront. Newly launched in Armação de Pêra, Casa de Sada Beach Resort brings together two Atlantic-facing pools, beachfront dining and cocktails with panoramic ocean views. The main pool is heated and filled with saltwater, while a spa with a Moroccan hammam and two further restaurants are scheduled to open in April 2027. Read on to find out why this Portugal newcomer should be on your travel list.

The sand is steps away

The long, golden beach at Armação de Pêra is reason enough to visit this stretch of the Algarve, and Casa de Sada Beach Resort puts it right on your doorstep. Head down for an early walk along the water, then take your place on one of the resort’s beach loungers. Palm Beach restaurant is on hand when swimming works up an appetite, while the town’s cafés and old fishing quarter invite a wander between spells on the sand.

You’ll have two pools to choose from

Two outdoor pools, both with sea views, give you plenty of reason to keep an afternoon free. The large heated saltwater pool is made for leisurely swims, with sunbeds around the deck and a broad sweep of Atlantic blue beyond. Guests in selected suites also have access to the second, suite-only pool, which offers its own ocean-facing spot for a dip. Alternate swimming with a chapter of your book, or head down to the beach when you feel like swapping poolside for the shore.

Dining and drinks come with a view

Book Alma’s ocean-facing terrace for Portuguese and North African-inspired cooking and signature cocktails, or head to Palm Beach for fresh seafood beside the sand. For scenic cundowners, Âmbar offers an indoor bar with panoramic Atlantic views.

If you’re willing to wait, two more restaurants are scheduled to open in April 2027: KOB by Olivier da Costa, a contemporary steakhouse with indoor and outdoor seating, and Sakina, serving Mediterranean cuisine and seafood on a beachside terrace. Orla pool bar is also coming soon, with cocktails and international dishes beneath the parasols.

The Algarve is yours to explore

Armação de Pêra is a handy base for seeing more of the Algarve, with coastal boat trips offering a closer look at the region’s golden cliffs and sea caves. For a day on land, visit Silves for its red sandstone castle and historic streets, or head to Carvoeiro and follow the coastal boardwalk towards the rock formations at Algar Seco. Golfers have several courses within around a 10-minute drive of the resort. Be back in time for a drink at Âmbar as the day’s light fades over the water.

Stay from April 2027 for the full spa experience

For the full Casa de Sada experience, book a stay from April 2027 onwards, when the new spa is expected to open. A Moroccan hammam will offer a warming steam-bath experience, complemented by the dry heat of the sauna and an ice fountain for an invigorating cool-down between sessions. A hot tub is also planned, giving you another place to soak away the afternoon.
