An amazing stay at Hotel Casa de Sada. I have never experienced such hospitality, culture, and attention to guest comfort. I would particularly like to highlight and thank Ms. Claudia at the reception, as well as Mr. Paul and Mr. Oscar from the restaurant. The hotel itself is situated right on the beach, offering a breathtaking ocean view. The bed in the room was incredibly comfortable, and the luxurious bedding made it feel like sleeping on a cloud. Guests have access to two wonderful pools and the most comfortable sun loungers I have ever relaxed on. The Palm Beach restaurant, located on the beach, serves excellent food and drinks. I celebrated my birthday there with my wife, and it was one of the best birthdays of my life. Although the hotel isn't fully finished yet and not all amenities are available, we will certainly return to see it in its full glory. Highly recommended!!!

Great stay here on the third day they were open. Apparently this used to be a Holiday Inn and has been under renovation for the last 3 years; everything is new, we thought it a brand new building. We were maybe one of four or five parties in the entire hotel and many of the rooms were still under construction, but the entire place is almost done. Nonetheless, the restaurant, pool, and bar were all open. All the staff were incredibly accommodating and friendly, the building is beautiful, and the view and accessibility couldn't be a whole lot better. It just overlooks the beach with easy access down the stairwell. Edit to add: Oscar at the restaurant was incredible, even taking us in early on our day of departure. Great move bringing him in from London for your opening!

I have never seen anything like this. I am contemplating a 2 night stay beginning tomorrow and had a question about construction that I had read about in a prior comment. I called the hotel twice in the span of an hour on a Monday early evening. No one picked up the phone either time. How is this humanly possible for a 5 star hotel on the beach charging premium prices? Crazy.

The sand is steps away

The long, golden beach at Armação de Pêra is reason enough to visit this stretch of the Algarve, and Casa de Sada Beach Resort puts it right on your doorstep. Head down for an early walk along the water, then take your place on one of the resort’s beach loungers. Palm Beach restaurant is on hand when swimming works up an appetite, while the town’s cafés and old fishing quarter invite a wander between spells on the sand.

You’ll have two pools to choose from

Two outdoor pools, both with sea views, give you plenty of reason to keep an afternoon free. The large heated saltwater pool is made for leisurely swims, with sunbeds around the deck and a broad sweep of Atlantic blue beyond. Guests in selected suites also have access to the second, suite-only pool, which offers its own ocean-facing spot for a dip. Alternate swimming with a chapter of your book, or head down to the beach when you feel like swapping poolside for the shore.

This hotel 🏨 s perfectly positioned for dining, shopping and transportation. The room was clean, roomy and we were upgraded to enjoy a large balcony. The room design is unusual as the glass walled shower protrudes into the bedroom area. The breakfast was excellent and the staff were friendly, efficient and spoke very good English. Unfortunately due to the weather the roof top bar was closed. Overall a very fine hotel.

Dining and drinks come with a view

Book Alma’s ocean-facing terrace for Portuguese and North African-inspired cooking and signature cocktails, or head to Palm Beach for fresh seafood beside the sand. For scenic cundowners, Âmbar offers an indoor bar with panoramic Atlantic views.

If you’re willing to wait, two more restaurants are scheduled to open in April 2027: KOB by Olivier da Costa, a contemporary steakhouse with indoor and outdoor seating, and Sakina, serving Mediterranean cuisine and seafood on a beachside terrace. Orla pool bar is also coming soon, with cocktails and international dishes beneath the parasols.

The Algarve is yours to explore

Armação de Pêra is a handy base for seeing more of the Algarve, with coastal boat trips offering a closer look at the region’s golden cliffs and sea caves. For a day on land, visit Silves for its red sandstone castle and historic streets, or head to Carvoeiro and follow the coastal boardwalk towards the rock formations at Algar Seco. Golfers have several courses within around a 10-minute drive of the resort. Be back in time for a drink at Âmbar as the day’s light fades over the water.

This is the best hotel stay I've had. The staff was incredibly friendly, the room was absolutely gorgeous, and the breakfast was an incredible value. My only regret was that we didn't stay longer.

We stayed one night in this beautifully decorated boutique hotel with the most helpful staff. They went above and beyond and made our single day stay an unforgettable one. Highly recommend it! The bar at the top floor is a must-see and has incredible views.

Stay from April 2027 for the full spa experience

For the full Casa de Sada experience, book a stay from April 2027 onwards, when the new spa is expected to open. A Moroccan hammam will offer a warming steam-bath experience, complemented by the dry heat of the sauna and an ice fountain for an invigorating cool-down between sessions. A hot tub is also planned, giving you another place to soak away the afternoon.
