Our stay at Park Hyatt Maldives was absolutely incredible. The house reef is one of the best we've ever experienced, with amazing snorkeling right off the villa. The staff were exceptional throughout our stay, and our host, Eid, was so attentive and ensured every detail was taken care of. The food was outstanding, with every meal exceeding our expectations. Exceptional villas, first class amenities, superb a la carte meals at the Dining Room, impeccable gourmet meals at the Island Grill.

This resort is absolute paradise. It is completely isolated from all of the other resorts and the marine life is amazing, right on your doorstep. We saw sharks and turtles every day, often without having to even get in the water. The staff are excellent, the service is exquisite and the food is wonderful. Complete relaxation and pampering. Will definitely be going back!

We recently spent a week in a Beachfront Pool Villa at SO/Maldives, and we absolutely loved it! From the moment we were met at Male Airport, to the ease of the speedboat transfer, to the smiling welcoming committee, to meeting our brilliant Butler Limar, we couldn't have been more impressed. We loved the location of our Villa, which was totally private surrounded by lush gardens with direct access to the beach and blue water, and spotlessly clean and modern. Easy walk or cycle to the resort facilities & restaurants. The food & beverages on offer are fantastic, the Spa is so serene, the facilities are great and the staff are all friendly & professional. We absolutely loved our stay at SO/Maldives in early August. We chose a beachfront pool villa, which was perfectly positioned with total privacy encased in lush greenery, and direct access to the beach. It was modern, exceptionally clean and easy walking or cycling to the resort. From the time we were met at Male Airport by a staff member, to the speedboat transfet to resort, the friendly welcome by resort staff, and introduction to our brilliant Butler Limar, it was all perfectly timed and so easy. The food & beverages on offer were wonderful and all the staff are friendly and professional. The Spa is totally serene with beautiful therapists. This is an ultra modern, stylish resort and we highly recommend for a relaxing get away. We loved SO/Maldives! Thank you

Lily Beach is the best resort of the 9 different Maldivian resorts we have stayed at. The reef is pristine and close to the island making for amazing snorkelling all around the island. The staff are the best. Many are longterm employees who recognise us when we return. The food is amazing and the buffet has the most variety of any we have seen. Although the rooms are old, they are comfortable and still have the latest amenities. The Vibes pool is great for families as it has a lot of natural tree shading around it all day.

Our water villa with pool was exceptional. The linen was top quality, the pillows and duvet sublime.
The service in every area of the resort was fantastic.
Rooms were made up early in the morning whilst we were at breakfats, so when we returne, the villa was perfec again.
We had WhatsApp access to our own Butler (the amazing Anas) and he was permanently available and responded within minutes to all requests – please may we have ice for drinks (average time for ice to appear – 8 minutes), please send a buggy to take us to dinner (10-12 minutes), please book our complementary massage – done!
Asan popped up at breakfast and dinner daily (and at other times0 just to check in with us.
All the staff were super friendly, every time one walked / cycled past, one would be greeted with a cheery 'good morning', 'hello', 'how was your dive….'
Resort massages are generally not great – these were superb.
The food was excellent – beautifully cooked yellow fin tuna, fabulous theme evenings, a sensational Japanese restaurant. We had a wonderful waiter, Niall, who gave great suggestions and was, as was everyone, charming.
The Manager, Sobah, was always around, and charming, from our first welcome drinks evening through to our farewell. He was extremely knowledgeable and was available but never intrusive.
The level of training of the staff was exceptional, service was seamless, and everyone was just so LOVELY!
I have had many island holidays in my life, nothing compares, or even comes close to this. I am already planning my return.

Everything at COMO Maalifushi was simply perfect and exceeded our expectations for our honeymoon getaway. The food, service, bungalows, amenities and selection of activities were second to none. We have both left here with our cups full of goodness, and had a really enjoyable time in the process. Special mention to Nasiba, who did an amazing job looking after us during our stay and made it extra special 🙂
If you are looking for a secluded and remote slice of paradise outside of the hustle and bustle of the commercial resorts closer to Male, make sure you consider the short, scenic seaplane ride to COMO Maalifushi for peace, quite and a top tier resort.

There were a lot of very good things about this resort, but one disappointing thing.
First, the positives:
1. The over-water villas are really excellent. We've stayed at 7 other resorts in the Maldives before and these were possibly the best best we've stayed in.
2. Wonderful early morning Yoga provided in the spa.
3. An excellent buffet breakfast
4. Good evening meals from the a la carte menu. Every other day you can sign up for a special meal for a surcharge. We had a really great Chinese New Year buffet.
5. The staff were all really friendly and helpful.
6. The sea-plane transfer was good.
The negative is that the house reef is really quite poor. The house reef and marine life at all the other places we've stayed at were significantly better. The main reason why we go to the Maldives is for the snorkelling so, for us, the resort was disappointing.
If you are not interested in snorkelling and sea-life and want a nice place to stay for a reasonable cost, this might work for you.
