Update: 11th December 2024: As per the amendments to the Tourism Act issued by the Maldivian Government, applicable to all travellers arriving in the Maldives from 1 January 2025, the green tax payable by travellers upon arrival at hotels (including tourist resorts, tourist hotels, hotels, tourist guest houses, tourist vessels) has been increased from USD 6.00 to USD 12.00 per person per day.

Seaplane Transfer:
- The resort is located approximately a 60-minute seaplane flight from Velana International Airport (MLE). The resort can only be reached by a mandatory seaplane transfer, available at an additional cost (payable directly to the resort).
- COMO Maalifushi staff will meet guests in the international airport’s arrivals hall and be on hand to assist them.
- Due to government regulations, the final take-off for seaplanes will be at 4.30pm each day. Arrivals after 3.30pm will need to book a hotel at the airport for a night.
- Baggage restrictions: 25kg for checked luggage and 5kg hand luggage per person. Any excess bags will be charged an overweight fee.
- To book your seaplane transfer, please contact the resort directly at least three days prior to your arrival at maalifushi@comohotels.com
