The location

Perfectly placed between Chandigarh and Shimla, Solan (named after the major deity of the area – Sholoni Devi) is a quaint little city in the Himalayas, with high mountains and lush greenery all around. It is not as crowded as Shimla and Manali (the more visited places in Himachal Pradesh) but is on a par in terms of beauty and places to explore. An easy drive from Chandigarh and Delhi makes this location perfect for a weekend getaway for city dwellers. This hill station will mesmerise you with its enchanting scenery.
