Sky-High Swimming: Singapore’s Best Rooftop Pools

Dream by Luxury Escapes - Sky-High Swimming: Singapore’s Best Rooftop Pools

Marina Bay Sands’ iconic pool may get all the buzz – but there are plenty more spots for sky-high swimming in Singapore’s best rooftop pools.

A cityscape as stunning as Singapore’s is best enjoyed from a rooftop pool, preferably with a cocktail in hand. Reach new heights with our pick of the best.

The Clan Hotel Singapore by Far East Hospitality, Telok Ayer

New to Singapore’s luxury hotel scene, this quirky five-star addition is already causing a stir. Find the ‘secret’ entrance and allow the concierge to announce your arrival with the chime of a gong.

Then, make your way straight to level 30, where the Sky Pool invites guests to float high above the city. Open from 6am until midnight, both early birds and night owls will find the perfect time for a dip. Our suggestion: take the plunge at sunset, when the changing colours of the sky ripple across the pool and over Singapore’s cityscape. Afterwards, take things down a notch on level four, where the Terrace serves cocktails with a view.

Andaz Singapore, Bugis

After a day spent shopping and eating your way through Singapore, nothing seems more inviting than a refreshing rooftop dip. Andaz’s infinity pool offers incredible skyline views, stretching all the way to the Singapore Flyer observation wheel and Kallang River.

The central location isn’t just ideal for its views either – from the hotel, it’s just a short walk to shopping centres, Haji Lane and the award-winning ATLAS bar.

Hotel Indigo Singapore Katong, an IHG Hotel, Katong/Joo Chiat

The bright poolside lounges of Hotel Indigo’s rooftop pool area beckon guests to slow down and enjoy the view. Gaze out across Singapore’s first heritage town, Joo Chiat, while taking leisurely laps high above the city. This is a different, quieter side to Singapore, packed with peranakan influences, cosy cafés and restaurants. If you do need to head into the city, it’s only a 15-minute cab ride away.

The Westin Singapore, Central

Escape the buzz of the financial district way up high at The Westin Singapore, a five-star oasis in the heart of the city. The infinity pool on level 35 overlooks the city’s skyscrapers, with views stretching all the way to the ocean and is undoubtedly one of Singapore’s best rooftop pools.

Take a moment to relax on submerged sunbeds or dry off and curl up on a chaise lounge. Large umbrellas and trees provide shade, so the views can be enjoyed even at the hottest times of the day.
