The coveted Australian Tourism Awards, which took place in Darwin on 15 March, saw the Queensland property awarded gold in the Five Star Luxury Accommodation category.
On the coastline of Palm Cove – declared the best beach in the world by Condé Nast Traveller – The Reef House Palm Cove offers adults-only luxury between the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Daintree Rainforest and Great Barrier Reef. A high staff-to-guest ratio, an 'obsession' with customer service and more than 20 signature experiences, ranging from cocktail classes to pool butler service, are credited as contributors to its success by Director Malcolm Bean.
The Reef House Palm Cove is the sister property of the multi-award-winning Mount Lofty House and Sequoia Lodge, both in the Adelaide Hills.
