A really lovely place. Perfectly located to get to all local attractions, with spacious manicured grounds, 9 hole golf course and great to walk around. The accommodation was really comfortable with a large shower, small sink area (but OK) and a plush king bed. The restaurant, food, breakfast and bar were really good. We will come back.

Peppers Craigieburn Bowral is enchanting. We spent four nights in this delightful historic hotel overlooking the magnificent gardens and private golf course. There are multiple seating areas with open fireplaces to choose from. The resort is located close enough to Bowral's town centre, but also far enough away to make it feel like you’re staying in a magical secret garden location. Hickory’s restaurant and bar offers outstanding dining options. The atmosphere is like stepping back in time and the staff are highly professional and friendly-they really went above and beyond to ensure that we had a memorable getaway experience 😊

Combine a scenic flight, eight-course degustation & Salvador Dali

Winery visited: d’Arenberg Cube
Location: McLaren Vale, South Australia

Just 45 minutes’ drive south of Adelaide, McLaren Vale is one of Australia’s oldest and most acclaimed wine regions and hides a bounty of wine and gourmet offerings across more than 80 vineyards. There’s no better way to appreciate the complex beauty of this magnificent region than with a day of art and gastronomy at d’Arenberg. Start with a scenic 30-minute helicopter flight over the vines before enjoying a gourmet meal and visit to two surrealist art exhibits.

Inspired by the puzzle pieces that make up a signature wine blend, d’Arenberg Cube is a monument of surrealism in prime wine country. The working vineyard is also home to the gourmet d’Arry’s Verandah Restaurant, where guests can enjoy an eight-course degustation and wine pairing. The experience also grants you access to the Alternate Realities Museum and Salvador Dali exhibition, boasting 25 bronze sculptures and graphic artworks from the legendary artist – an experience that wouldn’t be amiss in the most renowned art houses in the world.
