Travel + Leisure Names 100 Best New Hotels
The debut of these game-changing hotels has redefined luxury, innovation and the very essence of the travel experience.
A family-run chateau in Paris, an all-inclusive wellness property in the Dominican Republic and a newly renovated Hong Kong staple are among the world’s 100 best new and reopened hotels, according to the latest annual guide by travel media brand Travel + Leisure.
The winners – selected by Travel + Leisure editors who spent the past year visiting hundreds of properties – fall into six categories, including Splurge-Worthy Stays, Best City Hotels and, for the first time, Best New Cruise Ships.
“The 2024 It List is a celebration of transformation and discovery, spotlighting hidden gems and reborn icons across the globe,” said Travel + Leisure Editor in Chief Jacqui Gifford. “Each selection on this year’s list represents the transformative power of travel. These hotels and ships are destinations in their own right, providing not just accommodation but a profound sense of connection, comfort and delight far from home.”
Four cruise lines made the list, as did three properties in Australia, seven in the Caribbean and Central and South America, 10 in Africa and the Middle East, 14 in Asia, 26 in Europe and 36 in North America.
