This Fiji stalwart reveals its facelift, including freshly renovated bures, a whole new room type and a reimagined adventure park.
OUTRIGGER Fiji Beach Resort has proudly completed its multi-million-dollar transformation, ushering in "a new era of beachfront luxury along the Coral Coast". The extensive refurbishment, completed in December 2023, sees the resort now offering 253 rooms and suites across its 40 acres of tropical grounds.
Phase one of the project focused on renovating 16 premium bures and introducing an entirely new room category: Premium Ocean View. The newcomers occupy the bones of the original Lagoon Wing rooms and include the resort's renowned Talai butler service.
Phase two of the transformation saw upgrades to the main accommodation wings, remaining bures and shared guest spaces including the main buffet restaurant and lobby. Guests who get their kicks from aquatic thrills will love the addition of a waterslide to the main pool area – sure to be a hit with families visiting Fiji too.
The resort also unveiled the OUTRIGGER Adventure Park. Here, budding PGA pros can practise their swings at the golf training facility (200-metre driving range, putting green and chipping bunkers), and guests fancying themselves Katniss Everdeen in training can hone their aim at the archery range. A paintball course, plus 'Sip and Paint' sessions, local Fijian weaving lessons and coconut husking, and even a tour to the Sigatoka Sand Dunes also feature across the resort's activity offerings. And to complement this extensive line up is the OUTRIGGER Adventure Pass, which provides guests all-inclusive access to activities for FJD$200 per person.

As part of its transformation, the resort is bringing back its Community Tourism Initiative. Happening twice a week, this program invites guests to participate in hands-on projects at Vatukarasa Kindergarten School. The project currently underway focuses on the kinder infrastructure, with adult participation priced at FJD$100 and children at FJD$50.
