Malaysia Airlines restarts direct daily flights from Kuala Lumpur to Male, giving Australians a new route to paradise.
The new Male route represents Malaysia Airlines 13th destination in South Asia and “strengthens Malaysia Airlines’ position as the gateway to Asia and beyond” according to the company.
This year, Malaysia Airlines is launching three new destinations, including flights to Chiang Mai, Thailand beginning 15 August, and daily flights to Danang, Vietnam starting 24 September 2024.

In conjunction with the launch of the new route, Malaysia Airlines is offering special promotional fares from now until 31 August 2024 for travellers to explore Maldives’ breathtaking landscapes, crystal-clear waters, and world-class resorts.
Strengthening connectivity

Malaysia Airlines currently operates 53 weekly flights between Australia & New Zealand and Malaysia. Serving as the gateway to Asia, the airline offers seamless connectivity to over 50 destinations in Malaysia, ASEAN, North Asia, South Asia, and United Kingdom.
