It the 3rd time I’ve been at the Grand Hyatt this year so that should say it all. Excellent service, with polite, friendly and very helpfull staff. The Japanese and new garden cafe have an excellent selection of quality food and well worth trying.

Exceptional service , food , staff and amenities . The only suggestion would be to make an adults only pool to one side of main pool. Last year we were able to use club pool area but this year even though we upgraded to veranda view access we were not allowed unless we paid extra even though we only wanted pool and pool service not club access at all . They cited full capacity but that issue was overlooked if paid the extra which was not an option at all .

The Grand Hyatt exceeded our expectations. The staff were all absolutely amazing; we received exceptional service from Juna who serviced the pool with the slippery slide, food in all restaurants was delicious, and the resort grounds were immaculate. We could not fault our stay, and will definitely return.

1. Buffet breakfast
A decent buffet breakfast is one of the great joys of a holiday. As much as you can eat, right up until mid-morning, with no need to pay for lunch? Sign us up. From the fabled spread of Mulia Resort Bali (think fresh sashimi, global flavours and an entire room dedicated to desserts), to The Langham Melbourne, where you can start the day with everything from gyoza to Tasmanian smoked salmon, these days buffets go well beyond a bread basket. And when else can you get away with having three different cuisines, plus dessert, all on one plate?
2. Kids stay, play & eat free
It’s no secret family holidays can get expensive. With multiple plane tickets and hotel rooms to cover, it pays to be savvy where possible to make your budget go further. Keep an eye out for offers that include free dining from the kids’ menu, complimentary kids’ club access or free accommodation for little ones. For added value and comfort for the whole family, opt for special interconnecting rooms or family suites, available at select resorts.

We booked Bali Tropics Resort with Luxury Escapes and we had the most amazing time. Our room was huge and clean exactly like in the picture. The staff were very polite and extremely helpful and told us everything we needed to know.
We loved the food. Breakfast, lunch and dinner was included in our deal. There were so many different dishes we could choose from. The pancakes and waffles were made fresh each morning and were incredible. The fruits were amazing. I could go on and on. Lunches and dinners were always at different locations with so many different dishes and bbq’d meats as well. Entertainment every night was so good. Standout dinner on the lawn that looked like a wedding venue with traditional Balinese dancing was amazing! The hotel was traditional Balinese style which made the whole experience better. I would pick this location and resort every time over a more modern resort. The pool and pool bar was great where we got to meet so many people!!

Love our accomodation,
Check in is at 3 pm, we arrived around 2.30, weve waited for over 1 hr to check in as the reception said our room is not ready, i had to double check with them after more than 1 hr as no one is saying anything to us. They then said our room is ready. Was not impressed.
Food inside the resort was ok. But theres a lot of place to try outside, its near everything and a convinient store accross the resort.
I think it was the reception that was annoyed me, you asked them something, they give you answer with no information.
Resort was great. Its big and few restaurant inside. Reception is a let down.

3. Massages & spa treatments
Have you truly relaxed until you’ve had a massage to the soundtrack of the sea? Spa treatments at luxury resorts usually come with a sizeable price tag – unless they’re included in your package, that is. Some resorts are even generous enough to include them on a complimentary basis, EVERY DAY. Whether you’re a first-timer or a spa aficionado, everybody loves a little indulgence.
This is our fourth time to Ayana report and it never disappoints. So relaxing, unbelievably excellent staff. See you for the next time!

Spa amenities were excellent, both massage experience and Thelasso therapy.

Absolutely 1st class 6* all the way !!
This is a beautiful resort. It is kept in perfect condition and the staff are always happy to assist with a smile & Enthusiasm. The staff are properly trained in their job and the resort was spotless
We preferred the breakfast at Ayana main lobby but they were all fantastic. You can choose from so many restaurants and they are all good quality.
I had a wonderful massage from Pari who was properly trained at massages. I felt that 1.800.000 ++ was expensive for 30 minutes of massage – that’s about $155 AUD. I’d expect that for 1 hour so I felt a bit cheated with that
I also found drinks to be very expensive. But I guess you have to pay for the luxury of such fine service.
There is no need to leave the resort which is good & bad. You miss out if traditional Bali if you don’t venture out. All in all a definite AAAAA++++ all the way. I couldn’t fault it. Thank you teramakasi!

From waterpark passes to Fijian kava ceremonies, complimentary bicycle hire and Great Barrier Reef cruises, included experiences are a great way to immerse yourself in the destination you’re visiting. Perhaps you’ll even try something you wouldn’t otherwise have done, like scuba diving or a tank dive.
A fun resort with plenty of activities for entertainment. The breakfast buffet was one of the best we've had at a hotel.

The resort facilities were great. Most staff were great, however it may be worth spending some time training the staff who were not friendly couldn’t crack a smile and really shouldn’t be working in hospitality.
The boss girl on the main bar was excellent. And needs to teach some of the others

The unsung hero of inclusions, club lounge access is commonly found in city hotels. We had a wonderful stay! The hotel was clean, well located, and very well equipped for families with kids. Everything we needed was provided, making our stay comfortable and hassle-free. We splurged on access to the Horizon Club and it was totally worth it. The breakfast, and the evening canapés and drinks were extra special – they weren't done on a budget like we have seen in some other hotels.
The pool is magnificent, parts of it were nice and deep (2.5m) which is unusual in Asia, which probably explains why they offer swim vests by the pool as well.
6. Cocktails & happy hours
Want to live the champagne lifestyle on a beer budget? Look out for packages that offer nightly sunset cocktails, special happy hour offers or even complimentary buckets of beer (because sometimes, you might actually just want a beer). Special mention also must go to those resorts that provide a complimentary minibar: your services to keeping our thirsts quenched in the sun are admirable.
We’ve all been there: popping breakfast, lunch and dinner on the credit card during a holiday and losing track until the final cheque arrives. All-inclusive dining, or even just a few included lunches or dinners, can make a big difference – especially if the resort has a restaurant of note, like Mulia Resort’s Table 8.
8. Late checkout
That stretch from morning pool time to a late flight, with nowhere to shower or change, can feel long. Or perhaps you’re enjoying a city break and want a relaxed lay-in come the morning, rather than getting up and out the door early. Something that usually comes at an additional cost, complimentary late checkout is a surprisingly beneficial perk – especially if you’ve got a few family members to round up and get out the door.
9. Transfers
For ultimate ease on a fly-and-flop, you can’t beat included transfers, with a car ready and waiting to whisk you to your resort on arrival.
