The Fiji Family Resort with Its Own Traditional Village

The Naviti Resort brings together a beachfront setting, a lagoon-style pool and onsite Fijian cultural activities. Here’s how its facilities and Coral Coast location shape an unforgettable Fiji stay.

The Naviti Resort makes it easy for families and couples to share a holiday without following the same schedule. Children have a Kids Club and poolside activities; adults can find quieter moments at the resort’s adults-only dining and bar spaces. Add four restaurants and hands-on Fijian cultural experiences, and there’s plenty of variety for a longer stay.

The setting gives everyone room to spread out

The resort’s 38-acre grounds meet the Coral Coast shoreline, with rooms and villas set among gardens or oriented towards the ocean. That gives the stay a sense of space beyond the main pool and shared facilities. For couples, Studio Villas and One-Bedroom Villas offer a quieter setting near the beach, while families can choose room categories that accommodate up to four adults.

The beach offers views towards two islands just offshore. Start with a stroll along the sand or make the water the focus of the day before returning to the shade of the palms. It’s easy to spend the day moving between the shore, the water and a shady spot to relax.

The pool keeps the day close to the water

The expansive pool has a gently sloping entrance, a swim-up bar and a wide deck with loungers. Families can spend a few hours here without needing to organise an outing, while the beach is close enough to offer a change of scene.

For a slower break from the water, The Joy Spa offers massages and facials. There’s also a nine-hole, par-three golf course within the grounds, so a quick round can fit into the day without becoming a full excursion.

Dream by Luxury Escapes - The Fiji Family Resort with Its Own Traditional Village

Fijian culture comes to the fore

The Naviti’s onsite traditional village gives you a chance to join in with local craft and skills demonstrations. Activities include weaving a palm-leaf hat, making pottery from mud and watching skilled climbers scale coconut palms. The resort also hosts a fire-dancing show accompanied by rhythmic drumming.

These experiences give families an easy way to introduce children to Fijian culture without arranging a separate tour. For a day out, you can head to Biausevu Village and waterfall, as well as Sigatoka Sand Dunes National Park, where walking trails pass through coastal landscapes and archaeological sites.

Four dining venues make staying in feel varied

Nukunuku Restaurant & Bar is the beachfront option, serving meals alfresco with sweeping ocean views. Talei Restaurant is adults-only and looks over the golf course, Bamboo Terrace focuses on Cantonese and Mandarin cuisine, while the Grill sits among the gardens with a view towards the South Pacific.

The choice is useful on a longer stay: you can move between a relaxed meal by the beach, an adults-only dinner and a different cuisine without leaving the resort. The separate Sunset Bar is also reserved for adults, offering a quieter place to finish the evening.

Families can set their own pace

The Kids Club is designed for children aged five to 12, with supervised activities, games and creative sessions. A daily program of activities gives families options to do together, while tennis, beach volleyball, kayaking and paddleboarding offer ways to stay active. The resort’s layout means you can choose a little structure or leave the day open.

The Naviti Resort is about a two-hour drive from Nadi International Airport, so factor the transfer into your arrival plans. Once you’re there, the beach, pool, dining and cultural activities make it easy to settle into Coral Coast time.
