This Seminyak Beachfront Stay is Made for the Suite Life

With a Jacuzzi in every suite, a beach club and rooftop sunsets, Grand Seminyak puts you in the middle of Bali’s most sociable neighbourhood.

Some Bali stays make you choose between slowing down and going out. At Grand Seminyak, the day starts by the sea and ends wherever Seminyak takes you.

Drift between the ocean and infinity pool at the onsite beach club, then head out to Eat Street and bars after dark. When you return, an 80-square-metre suite and private Jacuzzi are waiting.

You get a private Jacuzzi with every suite

All 59 suites measure 80 square metres and come with a private balcony, lounge area and the headline act: an open-air Jacuzzi. Choose the Seminyak Suite, step straight into the pool from the Seminyak Pool Suite or take in Indian Ocean views from the Seminyak Ocean Suite – then settle into the bubbles beneath Bali’s balmy night sky.

You can bookend your day by Bali’s best light

Start the day with yoga on the resort beachfront deck, then finish at Double Six Beach, one of Bali’s best-known places to watch the sun go down. Settle into a colourful beanbag at one of the beachfront bars, order a cold drink and watch the sunset – you may even spot surfers on the waves or horse riders passing along the shore.

The beach club sets the scene

By day, Ocean Grand Beach is an easy place to claim a sunbed, take a dip and refuel with drinks and casual bites on hand. When the Bali heat sets in, cool down with an Aperol Iceberg – a frozen blend of Aperol, gin, lemon sorbet and fruit.

If you’re travelling in a group, settle into a semi-circular beachfront booth – no awkward towel arrangements required. As the sun goes down, stay for resident DJs and fire-dance performances before heading upstairs for dinner.

…then the rooftop keeps the evening going

Moonlite Kitchen & Bar takes dinner upstairs, pairing modern Southeast Asian cuisine and signature cocktails with sweeping beachfront views at sunset. Whether you sit indoors or out, an inclined glass sunroof keeps the evening light in view.

The menu packs a punch, from Singapore-style fried chilli prawns and roast red duck curry to crispy pork belly with Balinese sambal matah.

The spa is rooted in tradition

At the rooftop spa, choose from Balinese and Javanese-inspired treatments, with appointments available morning to night. Try the 30-minute Kerokan Therapy, or settle in for a Mauwut Massage using warm ginger oil and pressure-point techniques to promote circulation and restore energy flow.

Seminyak is right outside the gates

With direct access to Seminyak Beach, Grand Seminyak puts you within easy reach of the neighbourhood’s best-known addresses. Walk along the sand to Potato Head Beach Club, head to Eat Street for restaurants ranging from casual cafes to late-night dining, or browse the boutiques, galleries and bars that Seminyak is known for.

For a change of pace, head inland to Ubud for rice terraces, waterfalls and temple visits, or south to Uluwatu for clifftop scenery and surf beaches.
