Kashmir Valley is a white winter wonderland, with the tourist town of Gulmarg renowned for thrilling skiing and snowboarding terrain. Against the backdrop of the Himalayas, you can ski through untouched alpine bowls, gliding past ancient forests of cedars and pines. The region’s gondola is a must-visit in its own right, holding the title of the longest and highest in Asia, and ideal for taking in the magical scenery. 

Trek to the Valley of Flowers in Uttarakhand 

In the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand, nestled between Nepal and Tibet, you’ll discover the Valley of Flowers National Park, a sprawling meadow adorned with rare and exquisite flowers. Set against the majestic backdrop of the snow-capped Himalayas, the full trek through the park – best enjoyed from July to September –takes around five days to complete, passing through sparkling waterfalls, silvery glaciers and wild streams.
