Sitting between Quilpie and Eromanga in Outback Queensland, Toogunna Plains Farmstay is perfectly placed to explore the region, from meeting Australia’s largest dinosaur at the Eromanga Natural History Museum to catching 360-degree vistas atop Baldy Top Lookout just outside Quilpie. It’s a 20-minute drive from the Eromanga Natural History Museum.

The hotel is located approximately a 50-minute drive from Quilpie Airport (ULP), serviced by two flights a week from Brisbane Airport (BNE). Airport transfers are not included in your package, please plan accordingly.

Bookings (except for cruise bookings, flights and deposit fee, if applicable, which are subject to the cancellation terms of the relevant supplier) may be cancelled with a full refund provided that cancellation occurs strictly within 7 days from the date of purchase and provided that the cancellation is made no less than 14 days prior to the check-in date. Excludes flight and service fee, if applicable.

• Cancellations outside of the 7-Day Change of Mind period will not be provided, except as required by Australian Consumer Law, your local law or as otherwise provided for in the Fine Print.

Flexible Cancellation: You can cancel your booking for credit up until 21 days prior to the original check-in date. This can be done via self-service in your ‘My Escapes’ account. Your credit will be valid for 12 months from the date of cancellation. Credits are not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. Excludes service fee, if applicable.

Date Changes: If you need to amend your booking, you can self-service unlimited date changes in your ‘My Escapes’ account up until 21 days before your original check-in date. • Daily hot and cold buffet breakfast is served at the Bush Kitchen from 7am to 9am.
• Gourmet BBQ pack includes a select of locally sourced prime rib fillet, beef sausages and lamb chops with two freshly made salads, bread rolls, condiments and dressings. Guests have access to shared BBQ facilities by the Bush Kitchen to prepare their BBQ pack. Dietary requirements can be accommodated for with 72 hours prior notice.
• The welcome wine is either a bottle of red or white wine, depending on guest preference.
• Station tour and Kyra Sandhills sunset tour run daily. Guests must request their preferred tour at the time of booking.
• The Station tour is a three-hour visit around abandoned homsteads, oil fields, shearing sheds and geological formations with a delicious morning tea, departing at approximately 9am.
• The Kyra Sandhills Sunset tour is a two-hour visit to the nearby rolling red sandhills with a complimentary sunset drink and shared cheese platter, departing at approximately 4.30pm to align with sunset timing. It is located on a neighbouring property just 20 minutes’ drive away, Toogunna has two station tour buses that can be utilised for transport to this tour.
