Your cruise departs at 7pm from Hong Kong’s Kai Tak Cruise Terminal on Day 3 and returns at 7am on Day 14. Further information regarding boarding times will be available closer to departure; please ensure you arrive in time for boarding.
Return private transfers between Hong Kong International Airport (HKG) and InterContinental Grand Stanford Hong Kong, an IHG Hotel are included on the first and last day only. You will need to make your own way to the cruise ship on Day 3 in time for boarding, please plan accordingly.

Your journey begins as you depart Australia on your included flight. Touchdown at Hong Kong International Airport (HKG), pass through customs and immigration and you’ll be met by a Silversea representative and privately transported to your five-stay stay at the InterContinental Grand Stanford Hong Kong, an IHG Hotel.
Welcome to Hong Kong! With two full days to explore this city before you embark upon your cruise, the city beckons with countless things to do, see and eat. Drop your bags off at your hotel and the day is yours: cross Victoria Harbour via the iconic Star Ferry and ascend Victoria Peak by historic tram, hit the streets in search of milk tea and dumplings or shop up a storm in nearby Mongkok.

The northern port of Keelung is located just 20 minutes by metro train from Taipei, the country’s electrifying capital. With a full day to explore, a visit to the city’s highest skyscraper, pagoda-inspired Taipei 101, is a must – the views don’t get much better than from the building’s 89th-floor observatory. Alternatively, spend time appreciating the city’s incredible temples, including the incense-infused Bao-An Temple and storied Longshan Temple.

These extraordinary histories can be seen almost everywhere you look – the city’s architecture and cuisine make it a true melting pot!

- Flight departures from Adelaide (ADL) or Perth (PER) are available for a surcharge of A$345 per person.
- A checked baggage allowance of 23kg and carry-on allowance of 7kg applies. Any additional baggage must be purchased at the airport by the customer.
- Preferred airline seating is the responsibility of the passenger. For any specific airline seat reservations, contact the airline with the booking number included on your cruise summary email.
- Please note that upgrades are subject to availability and may not be available on all flights. Business class packages, if available, may be selected at check-out.
- Flight Change of Date: The change of date fee is A$200 per person, plus any applicable additional airfare and taxes. After airline tickets have been issued the package can only be changed by paying A$350 per person, plus any applicable airfares and taxes.
- Flights are nonrefundable, however a credit can be obtained for future use with the same airline. Credit must be used within 12 months of the original ticket date. The new dates must be on the same airline and of equal or higher value. If a higher value, a fare and tax difference will be payable and a A$50 Luxury Escapes service fee will apply when using your airline credit.
Onboard Dining
- Dining times onboard can vary between sailings. We ask for your preference, however, your preferred dining time may not be available. We suggest that you speak with the maître d once onboard.
- Included dining is available at the following restaurants: The Grill, La Terrazza and The Restaurant.
Itinerary
- In the event of strikes, lockouts, riots, weather conditions or mechanical difficulties, or for any other reason, any scheduled sailing or port of call may be subject to change.
- Some itineraries may include tender ports.
Passenger Restrictions
- Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied, in the same or connecting suite, by a parent or other responsible adult over the age of 21 for the duration of the voyage.
- Infants under 6 months cannot be accommodated onboard.
- Guests must notify Silversea of any children between the ages of 6–12 months who will be sailing onboard the ship. A signed and notarised waiver will be required.
- Guests who will have entered their 24th week of pregnancy or later at any time during the cruise cannot be accommodated due to safety concerns. Pregnant guests under 24 weeks must provide a doctor’s letter upon request confirming fitness to travel and estimated due date.
Travel Insurance
- Travel insurance is strongly recommended. Luxury Escapes recommends purchasing travel insurance as soon as possible after purchasing this package.
Passports & Visas
- A visa may be required. It is the traveller’s responsibility to ensure they’re holding a current visa for the countries they’re visiting. If the traveller is on a non-Australian passport, a valid re-entry visa may be required.
- Important: Please start arranging your visa at least 6-8 weeks prior to departure to account for any delays due to consulate operating hours and processing time.
- A valid passport with a minimum validity of 6 months beyond your return travel date is required for all passengers (including children and infants).
Health & Vaccinations
- Travellers are advised to check recommended vaccinations with their local health professional at least 45 days prior to departure, as some vaccinations require 30 days or more to be effective.
- Proof of vaccination is not usually required unless you are coming from an infected area.
- Proof of Yellow Fever vaccinations is required for entry into some countries, in particular in Africa. Please check with your health professional that you hold the appropriate vaccination entry requirements for your destination.
