Sea Dragon Kangaroo Island is ideally positioned on Kangaroo Island overlooking Pink Bay, the perfect spot for exploring the island’s top attractions. The property is an approximately 55-minute drive from Kingscote Airport (KGC), which can be reached via a 30-minute flight from Adelaide Airport (ADL). Alternatively, Kangaroo Island can be accessed by a 45-minute ferry from Cape Jervis to Penneshaw. Transfers from the on-island terminal are included for select packages (please refer to package inclusions). This will secure your package and give you the flexibility to choose your travel dates — within the book by and validity period and subject to availability. To select dates post purchase, simply select ‘My Escapes’ under the ‘My Account’ tab and follow the prompts.

7-Day Change of Mind ‘No Questions Asked’ Refund Guarantee: Things don’t always work out. Our 7-day Change of Mind Guarantee is there to help. Bookings (except for cruise bookings and flights) may be cancelled with a full refund provided that cancellation occurs strictly within 7 days from the date of purchase and provided that the cancellation is made no less than 14 days prior to the check-in date.

Flexible Cancellation: You can cancel your booking for Luxury Escapes credit up until 21 days prior to the original check-in date. This can be done via self-service in your ‘My Escapes’ account. Your Luxury Escapes credit will be valid for 12 months from the date of cancellation. Credits are not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.

Please note this does not apply to flights booked with Luxury Escapes. Flight fulfilment is provided by the airline(s) selected at the time of finalising the booking. For your air travel, you are bound by the terms and conditions and fare rules of the selected airline(s).

Date Changes: If you need to amend your booking, you can self-service unlimited date changes in your ‘My Escapes’ account up until 21 days before your original check-in date. Please Note:

• Dining inclusions do not include drinks (unless otherwise stated). Menus are subject to change without notice.
• Daily breakfast will be served in the onsite restaurant, from 7.30am until 9am.
• The nightly two-course set-menu dinner will be served in the onsite restaurant from 6pm until 8pm. The seafood platter will be served in the onsite restaurant as part of the evening dinner.
• Check-in is available on Tuesdays and Fridays for the three-night packages, and Mondays and Fridays for the four-night packages.
• The False Capes Wines tasting will be a wine paddle, and meals can be purchased at the False Capes Wines cellar door.
• Arrival transfers from the property will meet at the Penneshaw Ferry Terminal for the 10am and 4pm ferry from Cape Jervis. Departure transfers will meet the 10.30am and 5.30pm from Penneshaw. For times outside of select ferries, surcharges may apply. In the occassion of small groups with earlier arrival times, there may be an exception to meet earlier ferry times with confirmation from the reservation team required beforehand. Half-day Taste of Kangaroo Island tour (select packages only):

• The half-day tour departs at approximately 9am and will be shared with up to 10 guests. The tour will end with a return to Sea Dragon Kangaroo Island between approximately 3pm and 4pm.
• Locations covered by the tour can include KI Spirits, with a distillery tour including gin sampling and lunch, an organic honey farm, and Emu Bay Lavender Farm.
• The itinerary may change depending on time of year, seasonal produce, operating hours and other operational factors.
• The day of the tour will vary depending on the overall guest numbers. Usual departure days will be on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday.

Full-day Kangaroo Island Nature tour (select packages only):

• The full-day nature tour departs at approximately 9am and will be shared with up to 10 guests. The tour will end with a return to Sea Dragon Kangaroo Island at approximately 5.30pm.
• Locations covered by the tour can include Seal Bay Conservation Park, Flinders Chase National Park, the Remarkable Rocks, Cape Du Couedic Lighthouse, and Admirals Arch, with lunch provided. On the way back, there will be a swim at one of the many beaches (temperatures permitting) or a short walk.
• The itinerary may change depending on time of year, seasonal produce, operating hours and other operational factors.
• The tour departs on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday from October to March. In all other months, the tour departs on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
• The tour provider recommends brining a wide-brimmed hat, sunscreen, 1.5-litre water bottle, walking shoes, swimwear, towel, and camera. Moderate fitness levels are recommended as there will be plenty of walking and an optional swim.
