Visit a traditional bakery where Moroccans have been baking bread, tagines and pastille for centuries. It wasn’t so long ago that it was very uncommon for people to have their own shower or bath in their homes – water (particularly hot water) was a precious commodity before the era of hot water heaters. A practical solution was created to get around this difficulty: the hammam. You’ll have the opportunity to see the traditional wood-burning furnace of one of Moroccan hammams.
