The resort is located approximately a 35-minute seaplane flight from Velana International Airport (MLE) in Malé. The resort can only be reached by a mandatory seaplane transfer, available at an additional cost (payable directly to the resort). You can book your seaplane transfers directly with the resort by reaching out to the in-house reservations team at reservations.icmaldives@ihg.com after you book, at least seven days before your arrival.
Upon your arrival at Velana International Airport (MLE), the resort’s airport team will greet you with a tablet showing the InterContinental Maldives Maamunagau Resort logo and will escort you to their private lounge, where you’ll wait for your seaplane flight.
All transfer information is subject to change, please contact the hotel directly to confirm transfer details before you depart for your escape.
