7-Day Change of Mind ‘No Questions Asked’ Refund Guarantee: Things don’t always work out. Our 7-day Change of Mind Guarantee is there to help. Bookings (except for cruise bookings, flights and deposit fee, if applicable, which are subject to the cancellation terms of the relevant supplier) may be cancelled with a full refund provided that cancellation occurs strictly within 7 days from the date of purchase and provided that the cancellation is made no less than 14 days prior to the check-in date. Excludes flight and service fee, if applicable.
- Cancellations outside of the 7-Day Change of Mind period will not be provided, except as required by Australian Consumer Law, your local law or as otherwise provided for in the Fine Print.
Flexible Cancellation: You can cancel your booking for credit up until 21 days prior to the original check-in date. This can be done via self-service in your ‘My Escapes’ account. Your credit will be valid for 12 months from the date of cancellation. Credits are not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. Excludes service fee, if applicable.

- A welcome cheese board will be placed in your room on arrival; contents may vary, with gluten-free or vegetarian options available. It may include gourmet cheeses, a cold meat selection, olives, crackers, gourmet dips and more.
- The welcome bottle of wine is available in your room on arrival, with a choice of white, red or sparkling. Hotel staff will call to confirm your choice prior to arrival.
- Wine tasting at First Creek Wines must be booked in advance. Guests will be called to get a preferred time slot; pre-booking is required, either two weeks in advance or at time of booking. Guests will discover the Hunter Valley classics: Semillon, Chardonnay, Verdelho, Rose and Shiraz, topped off with a taste of the vineyards’ ever-popular Botanica Sparkling. Available seven days a week, 10am to 4pm.
- Wine tasting at McGuigan or Tempus Two: Hotel will call the guest to get a preferred time slot; pre-booking is required, either two weeks in advance or at time of booking. The winery’s friendly and knowledgeable team will take guests through 6-7 carefully selected pours, featuring a mix of sparkling, white, and red wines, including exclusive cellar door releases.
