Nestled in the heart of Canterbury’s premier wine region, Waipara Valley is at the epicentre of New Zealand’s award-winning pinot noir and riesling country, with exceptional vineyard tastings and winery restaurants like nearby Pegasus Bay and Black Estate. Adventure seekers can explore the Waipara Valley Vineyard Trail on foot or bike through historic farmland and rolling hills.

The hotel is located approximately a 45-minute drive from Christchurch International Airport (CHC). Airport transfers are not included in your package, please plan accordingly.

  • The four-course Trust the Chef lunch (select packages only) takes place at the Greystone cellar door, five minutes from the PurePod. Bookings must be made at the time of reservation and all dietary requirements advised. This experience is not open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays or public holidays.
  • This resort is off-grid and no Wi-Fi is available as part of the PurePod concept, encouraging slow down and digital disconnection. Mobile phone reception is available in most places.
  • A continental breakfast hamper is supplied with enough supplies for the whole stay, including but not limited to granola, yoghurt, fruit compote or seasonal fruit. This will be in the pod on arrival.
  • A dinner hamper is also supplied with a selection of local cheeses, cured meats, fresh bread, crackers and olive oil. Main course is a choice of lamb or steak accompanied by a seasonal salad or vegetables. This will be in the pod on arrival.
  • A bottle of Greystone wine will be in the pod on arrival.

Blackout Dates & Surcharges: A non-refundable surcharge per room, per night may apply, payable at the time of booking. Dates and prices are identified in the Booking Calendar. Blackout dates may apply.

7-Day Change of Mind ‘No Questions Asked’ Refund Guarantee: Things don’t always work out. Our 7-day Change of Mind Guarantee is there to help. Bookings (except for cruise bookings, flights and deposit fee, if applicable, which are subject to the cancellation terms of the relevant supplier) may be cancelled with a full refund provided that cancellation occurs strictly within 7 days from the date of purchase and provided that the cancellation is made no less than 14 days prior to the check-in date. Excludes flight and service fee, if applicable.

  • Cancellations outside of the 7-Day Change of Mind period will not be provided, except as required by Australian Consumer Law, your local law or as otherwise provided for in the Fine Print.

Flexible Cancellation: You can cancel your booking for credit up until 21 days prior to the original check-in date. This can be done via self-service in your ‘My Escapes’ account.
