7-Day Change of Mind ‘No Questions Asked’ Refund Guarantee: Things don’t always work out. Our 7-day Change of Mind Guarantee is there to help. Bookings (except for cruise bookings, flights and deposit fee, if applicable, which are subject to the cancellation terms of the relevant supplier) may be cancelled with a full refund provided that cancellation occurs strictly within 7 days from the date of purchase and provided that the cancellation is made no less than 14 days prior to the check-in date. Excludes flight and service fee, if applicable.

  • Cancellations outside of the 7-Day Change of Mind period will not be provided, except as required by Australian Consumer Law, your local law or as otherwise provided for in the Fine Print.

  • Nightly drinks are served in Ellen Bar. Guests can choose any drink up to the value of GBP17 per guest, per day.
  • Dining Credit: The included credit must be used during your stay. Any unused credit will be forfeited and is not transferable or redeemable for cash. Credit can be used at the Lacquer Room for food and drinks only (excludes minibar and room service). No minimum spend applies. Credit will be applied upon checkout.

The Ellen Kensington hotel is very pretty, the rooms are small but designed with attention to detail. I really liked the coffee machine and fluffy robes etc. The bed was very comfortable. The location is geat, close to the Underground station Earls court and in a beautifull neighbourhood that is well suited for long coffee walks. The staff is very friendly and attentive.

The moment my wife and I walked into the Ellen Kensington hotel we were greeted with smiles and positive vibes. The lobby and first impressions were beautiful, clean, and fresh smelling matched with genuinely happy and helpful staff. RAMIZ MUSHARAF stood out from the rest by introducing himself, and even asking us if we needed anything from the store when we saw him outside. Ramiz even came to our room to give us a "wake up call" by gently knocking on our door exactly at the requested time. Our room was absolutely fantastic; everything was organized, tidy, and sparkling clean. The TV worked just fine, along with every electric device like the coffee maker and refrigerator. Breakfast was good, and it was easy to figure out the espresso machine. All the silverware and cups were clean. The location was perfect, just a few minutes walk to the tube and various restaurants and shops. We will DEFINITELY stay at the Ellen Kensington hotel again, as we go to London every year for business at the many fine art galleries London has to offer. Thank you for your hard work and hospitality!

Spectacular, a true 5-star experience from start to finish, and perfectly located. The location is excellent, just a few steps from the metro. The room was wonderful, beautifully decorated, fresh, with thoughtful touches like bathrobes, slippers, an espresso machine, high-quality tea, and bottled water. The bed and pillows were absolutely comfortable. The bathroom was spacious, tastefully designed, with premium toiletries and a fantastic shower. My room overlooked a park, full of natural light and fresh air. Breakfast was very good and fresh, served in a cozy space with sunlight and pleasant music — a perfect way to start the day. The staff was outstanding — everyone was friendly, kind, and incredibly helpful with any request at reception. I am truly impressed, this is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at in the world. I will definitely return. Nothing at all to complain about — I felt well taken care of in every way. This hotel is a rare combination of refined luxury with a fair and reasonable value, offering a full 5-star experience from beginning to end.

What a dissapointing visit in a ”5 star hotel”. The main dissapointment was that we got a room on the basement floor. This meant that we did not have a real window, and when the window was opened we saw e.g. construction tools… Staying on the basement floor also affected that we felt unsafe during our stay. In addition the air in the basement was smelling mouldy. About the room, the bathroom was nice and tidy. But rest of the room with the floor carpet, not so fresh. Sheets had stains on them. Lights were either fully on or fully off, no other options. Breakfast was ok, but we would’ve expected more quality and options from a 5 star hotel. Hotel staff was polite, but not necessary kind. Receptionists spoke so quitly it was hard to hear anything they said. Regardless of the disaapointments, at least the location was great. We complained about our room, which resulted that they promised us a discount on our next visit. But no, we are definetly not coming back to Ellen. You can find much better options with the same price, but if you happen to choose Ellen: at least confirm your room won’t be on the basement floor.
