- A full safety briefing as well as safety equipment will be provided at the Volcanic Air Base
- All passengers will be required to be weighed on the day of flight to ensure proper weight distribution in the aircraft
- Please allow up to 6.5 hours for this experience, including travel, boarding and disembarking time
- Hike: The hike is about 7 km total and can be completed in a leisurely 3.5 hours. Guests will have loaned use of a GPS unit for their hike. Hike is along a clearly formed track following the river. Guests walk to Tarawera Falls and return by same walking route to starting point

- Must be aged 13+ to participate in this experience. This tour is not appropriate for children under 13
- Tour duration, flight times and inclusions may vary due to weather conditions, volcanic activity and passenger loadings. Excursion landings are undertaken at your own risk and such landings are at your pilot’s sole discretion
- Reservations are held only when weights are received and full passenger details provided
- Any deviation from the declared weights within reason may incur a surcharge or result in your flight being rescheduled
- If an individual’s weight exceeds 110kg, a surcharge may apply. Any passenger exceeding 135kg will be required to purchase two adult fares
- Excursion landings are undertaken at your own risk and such landings are at your pilot’s sole discretion

Cancellations:
- Cancellations made between 30 days and 7 days before departure date: 25% cancellation fees apply
- Cancellations made between 7 days and 48 hours before departure date: 75% cancellation fees apply
- Cancellations within 48 hours of departure date, late arrivals and no-shows: 100% cancellation fee applies

- 30 days’ notice is required to request changes to a booking you have made. Changes are subject to availability
