Things don’t always work out, so enjoy peace of mind knowing that the following cancellation options are available to you.

• Up to 7 days after purchase - 100% Things don’t always work out. This experience may be cancelled with a 100% refund up until 7 days after booking confirmation, subject to the below conditions:

Cancellation

• Cancellations received 7 days prior to departure date received a full refund
• Cancellations received between 2–6 days prior to departure date – 50% cancellation fee applies
• No refund applies if booking is cancelled within 24 hours
• Cancellations made by GoCar Tours for extreme weather conditions will either be issued a rain check or payment refunded

Changes to Booking

7 days’ notice is required to change a booking you have made

Availability:

• Available every day: 9am–7pm
• Bookings valid to 31 March 2025

Important:

• GoCar Tours San Diego does not guarantee the weather. When poor conditions are expected, trips may be cancelled and refunded or rescheduled as per cancellation policy
• Drivers must be aged 21+ and hold a valid US drivers licence
• A security deposit is required for this activity. This must be paid in cash or via credit card on the day
• Minimum age for passengers is 7 years old
• All riders must sign a standard participant agreement. Renters will have the option to purchase Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) insurance on the day of rental. Renters are free to extend the length of their tour on the day of rental. Additional rental time will be charged in 15-minute increments.
• Driving outside of the designated tour route is permitted, however the car will only talks on designated routes
• Transfers, food and drinks are not included
• No license is required to drive a speed boat
• There are opportunities to switch drivers during the speed boat tour
• You have the ability to communicate with your guide via radio system on speed boat tour
• Speed boats travel between 20 to 25 knots

Terms & Conditions for GoCar:

• Maximum passenger capacity per vehicle is two people
• Late arrival will shorten hire time
• Your tour’s length may vary due to departure time, location, traffic, detour choices, and itinerary. Additional rental time will be charged in 15-minute increments
• Cars must be returned to rental location before dusk
• You may be liable for additional damages or losses that occur during your rental. The vendor offers extra insurance options for an additional surcharge, payable on the day. Please ask agents about these options when you arrive
• Itinerary is subject to change

Terms & Conditions for Speed Boat:

• Guests must be 18+ to drive the boat alone. Children aged 16–17 may drive the boat provided an adult (18+) is in the boat
• This tour is not recommended for guests with neck or back problems, recent surgery or pregnant women
• All guests must sign a liability waiver. Parents or legal guardians can sign the waiver on behalf of children. You will receive a link to the electronic waiver via email
• Speed boats have a total maximum weight limit of 425 pounds (approximately 192kg)
• Children aged 0–5 are welcome on a case-by-case basis, as long as the conditions of the water are fair, and the child can hold on, physically. If conditions are rough, this experience is not safe for children aged 0–5

• Entire value must be used in one visit; any unused portions will be forfeited, and cannot be used at a later date
