Guided Airpark Tour

• July – August: every day: sessions at 8.30am, 9.30am, 10.30am, 11am, 12.30pm, 1.30pm and 2pm
• September: every day: sessions at 8.30am, 11am, and 1pm
• October – March: every day: sessions at 8.30am and 10.30am
• Bookings valid to 31 March 2025

Note: Opening hours, show and tour times are subject to change. Light & Sound Show times vary according to sunset hour. Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to scheduled start time.

Cancellations:

• Guest will receive a full refund of the purchase amount if cancellation is made up to 72 hours prior to the first tour date
• For cancellations made within 48 hours of tour date, a 50% cancellation fee applies
• For cancellations made within 24 hours of tour date, late arrivals and no-shows, tickets are 100% non-refundable
• Cancellations must also be sent via email to info@qfom.com.au

Changes to Booking:

• Where possible Qantas Founders Museum will honour change of date/time requests made with at least 5 days’ notice. This is not possible for all tours and is always subject to availability
• Change requests made with less than 5 days’ notice will not usually be accepted. Change requests may be subject to an administration fee from 10% of the booking cost

• Exclusions: Food, drinks, transport to venue, accommodation, flights, additional tours
• Venue: Sir Hudson Fysh Drive, Longreach, QLD 4730. Guests must make their own way to the location. It is an approximately 13-hour drive from Brisbane CBD. Qantas Airways flies daily to Longreach from Brisbane (own expense). Queensland Rail’s “Spirit of the Outback” travels to Longreach from Brisbane twice a week
• Accessibility:
  • Light & Sound Show experience: Guests will be standing for the duration of the show. If you require a chair, please let a staff member know on the night of your tour
  • Airpark Tour: Customers must be agile and able to climb 2 stories of stairs unassisted
• Bookings are subject to availability
• Dress code: Closed-toe shoes are compulsory during the tour

Terms & Conditions:

• Child policy: Child rate applies for children aged 5–11. Children aged 4 and under are considered to be infants and are free of charge but are still required to be listed when booking. Children under 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult/guardian aged 18+
• No photography is permitted during the Luminescent Longreach Light & Sound Show
• Partial refunds do not apply if any tour components were possible but guests choose not to proceed, or were ineligible due to failure to meet requirements
• Tour itineraries and activities may change or be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to weather conditions or mechanical issues
