Cancellations:

• 25% cancellation fee for any cancellations made within 24 hours of travel, or for passengers who fail to appear on the day of departure
• Cancellation fee applies to all Gold Class bookings amended or cancelled on the day of departure
• All passengers who cancel will be advised to contact their booking agent for all refunds

Changes to Booking:

24 hours’ notice is required to change a booking you have made. Cancellation fees apply to all Gold Class bookings amendments made on the day of departure

Availability:

• Available Thursday – Tuesday: 7am departure, 5.30pm return to Cairns (approximately)
• Not valid: Wednesday and Christmas Day
• Bookings valid to 31 March 2026
• Departure Point: Hotel pickup available from selected Cairns hotels
• It is the passenger’s responsibility to re-confirm their place of accommodation at least 48 hours prior to travel. We accept no responsibility for any incorrect information provided by passengers, regarding their pickup

Important:

• A dedicated wheelchair vehicle is available for Kuranda passengers departing Cairns only (maximum four). Advice of wheelchair passengers must be given at time of booking. Please contact Down Under Tours reservations team for attractions that cater for wheelchairs
• To enable loading onto the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway, wheelchairs cannot exceed 630mm in width and 950mm in length and must be capable of being tilted backwards
• Child rates valid for ages 4–14 inclusive. Children under 4 travel free and must be booked as an infant
• Although Down Under Tours endeavours to ensure that all passenger’s belongings are secure throughout the tour/charter and that all belongings are collected on disembarkment, Down Under Tours and its employees shall not be responsible for lost property. If an item is left on the vehicle, there are two options to ensure its return: Guests can make their own way to Down Under Tours Depot at 26 Redden Street, Portsmith, between 6am–5pm daily to collect their item, or if guests are unable to collect the item themselves, they can contact a courier service to collect the item from the premises and deliver to their nominated address (own expense)
• Must be aged 18+ for alcohol consumption and be able to provide valid photo ID upon request
• Any excess amount and personal expenses are payable directly to venues

• The Kuranda Scenic Rail (KSR) and the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway are subject to extreme weather conditions resulting in non-operation. In this instance, alternative arrangements will be offered to you
