With approximately 50 species including New Zealand’s ‘big five’ – kiwi, kākā, kea, tuatara and takahē – and nearly 500 individual animals, you’re sure to make a new furry, scaly or winged friend. If you’ve ever wanted to chill out with a gibbon, converse with a cockatoo or gaze adoringly into the eyes of a capybara, Willowbank Wildlife Reserve has you covered.

- The reserve is an approximate 1km independent walk. Guests should allow up to 1.5 hours to experience the entire reserve
- Please note, Kiwi Nocturnal House is open from 10.30am daily
