• Please be punctual, the Birds of Prey Encounters flight show starts on time
• You can complete your self-guided bush walk before or after the encounter
• The Birds of Prey bush walk is an unsealed gravel pathway and is more suitable for all-terrain prams and wheelchairs
• Cape Raptor Centre welcomes visitors with still and video cameras for personal use
• Please allow a minimum of 90 minutes to make the most of Capes Raptor Centre
• Flight show runs for approximately 40 minutes. The 1km birds of prey forest walk takes approximately 35– 40 minutes. There is also a short walk alternative which takes approximately 15–20 minutes

Terms & Conditions:

• For the wellbeing of the birds of prey, flash photography and external lighting are NOT permitted at any time
• Bird of Prey Encounters may be adjusted according to how much rain is falling
• During extreme rain or wind, the Bird of Prey Encounters will be cancelled
• Pets are not permitted on park grounds. Please do NOT leave your pet unattended in your vehicle whilst visiting Cape Raptor Centre
• Senior rate is available for those holding a valid Australian Seniors Card

Capes Foundation

The team at the Capes Foundation bring the Margaret River region to life with their expert knowledge of the land’s conservation and rich history. Passionate about protecting, educating and caring for Australia’s native birds of prey, the Capes Foundation runs the Capes Raptor Centre in Margaret River. The centre is a refuge for over 40 species of birds who are unable to return to the wild due to injuries and provides daily flight shows, admission to their grounds and educational tours for guests.
