Based on Buenos Aires’ largest and most vibrant barrio Palermo, this addition is an exciting contribution to Melbourne’s thriving dining and laneway scene, with a similarly eclectic mix of street art, restaurants, bars and designer chic. Palermo’s design elements include raw timbers, rich bespoke carpet, steel framing, a cowhide feature wall, retro tiles, lighting fashioned using antique syphon bottles, a marble bar, and alluring portraits of Argentinian screen siren Coca Sarli. But the centrepiece is undoubtedly the rustic red brick Asado fire pit, where the searing flames and charcoal serve as a slow-roasting method to cook the quality produce on offer for your Argentinian feast. This progressive menu features bountiful dishes to share with your dining partner, think slow-cooked pork, chorizo and morcilla sausage, empanadas, salmon crudo, and of course, tempting traditional desserts harking back to the homeland.
