Important:
- Passengers aged 2+ are legally required to occupy their own seat and are therefore required to pay full ticket price
- Subject to conditions, children under 2 may travel free of charge when seated on a parent’s/guardian’s lap
- All passengers must be fit, able and have a moderate to high level of mobility to safely load and unload the helicopter without assistance
- Steps and platforms are required to enter the helicopter
- For each guest weighing 125 kilograms or more, a comfort seat purchase is required
- Please allow 1 hour and 10 minutes for the duration of this experience, including travel and flight time. Flight time is approximately 15 minutes
Terms & Conditions:
- A fuel surcharge may apply to the ticket price. In such cases, any charge will be collected on departure, payable directly to Professional Helicopter Services. No fuel surcharge is presently applicable
- Tours and aircraft substitutions are subject to Management and/or pilot discretion, weather, air-traffic control and availability. In the event of bad weather, providing there is availability, date changes are welcome or in the worst-case scenario, cancellations
- Aircraft can carry between 4–6 passengers per flight, pending the aircraft being utilised on the day. All helicopters are assigned due to several operational reasons including aircraft availability, weather, maintenance and total weights of all passengers on board. If you are travelling with more than 6 passengers, please reach out to our friendly reservations team and they will assist in catering to your group
- There is no individual weight limit, however there is a maximum total weight limit for the aircraft. Accurate passenger weights are critical for the safe operation of helicopters, please ensure that any supplied passengers’ weights are as accurate as possible. Professional Helicopter Services are required by law to measure the weights of all passengers and any cargo that are transported on their helicopters before flight and mismatches between supplied and actual weights can lead to significant delays or non-refundable cancellations in some circumstances
- Reservations are held only when weights are received and full passenger details provided
- Professional Helicopter Services will not be liable for any loss, damage, additional expenses or inconvenience arising from, or incidental to, any delay in service
- In the event of bad weather, providing there is availability, date changes are welcome or in the worst-case scenario, cancellations. Please note, if half the paid tour was possible, the component not experienced will be refunded, not both
- Please Note: No helicopter tour will fly over the top of Uluru or Kata Tjuta. Professional Helicopter Services abides by the National Parks Australia procedures for flying within the National Park. These procedures have been designed to minimise the impact helicopter noise has on other park visitors, and to maximise the viewing of guests participating in helicopter tours
- Minimum numbers apply for flight to proceed. If a flight fails to satisfy minimum numbers, the trip may be cancelled or rescheduled
Cancellation:
- Cancellations made more than 24 hours before departure date: no cancellation fees apply
- Cancellations within 24 hours of departure date, late arrivals and no-shows: 100% cancellation fee applies
- All cancellation requests must also be made in writing by email and addressed to uluru@phs.com.au
Changes to Booking
- 24 hours’ notice is required to change a booking you have made
