MSC Cruises' new flagship cruise liner, MSC World America, is set to redefine the cruising experience, debuting in 2025 with seven innovative 'districts'.
MSC Cruises has announced the debut of its new 22-deck megaship, MSC World America, promising a groundbreaking cruise experience. Scheduled to embark on its inaugural sailing in April 2025 from Miami, USA, the ship will feature seven distinct ‘districts’ designed to cater for guests of all ages and preferences:
- MSC Yacht Club: this private area offers guests exclusive benefits with all-day butler service, priority embarkation and disembarkation, a club lounge and dining area and more.
- Family Aventura: a family-dedicated area on the ship’s top deck, featuring The Harbor outdoor park with a high ropes course, a yet-to-be-revealed large attraction and a playground modelled after the lighthouse at Ocean Cay. The area will also house Doremiland, with age-appropriate activities for babies to teens with bumper cars, a roller rink, water slides and more.
- Aqua Deck: aims to provide the ultimate pool day experience with two main pools surrounded by a transitioning pool deck to suit the ‘mood’ throughout the day. Wellness activities will be offered in the morning, upbeat entertainment in the afternoon and high-energy parties in the evening.
- Zen Area: an adults-only enclave at the stern of the ship with ocean views, for sunbathing and swimming day and night.
- Galleria: a diverse district at the ship’s centre, presenting multiple dining options, shopping and entertainment venues such as Dolce Vita Bar with live music, Jean Philippe Chocolat & Café for afternoon refreshments, MSC Luna Park Arena entertainment venue, and Luna Park Pizza & Burger for 24/7 food favourites.
- The Terraces: offers a variety of dining and entertainment options for adults, including nine restaurants and bars (five of them specialty restaurants), four retail shopping options and a comedy club.
- Promenade: an outdoor hub with ocean views, an 11-storey dry slide, interactive activities and diverse dining choices, including the Emporium coffee bar.
MSC World America is equipped with state-of-the-art technology to reduce its impact on the environment, making it one of the most energy-efficient cruise ships in the world. This includes the use of LNG low-emission fuel, the use of shore power connectivity where available, and advanced waste management systems. MSC Cruises has committed to achieving net-zero greenhouse gas emissions for its marine operations by 2050.

MSC World America is now available for booking, with journeys starting in Miami in 2025, and travelling to destinations in the Eastern and Western Caribbean.
