Luxury and family time aren’t mutually exclusive at this grand hotel, which offers direct access to Disney California Adventure Park. Sophisticated rooms feature murals of blossoming orange trees – complete with appearances from Chip ‘n’ Dale – plus dark-wood panelling, locally inspired artwork and copper detailing, all designed to bring a sense of peace to the start and end of each day.
Adults can relax and recharge at the full-service Tenaya Stone Spa – where facials, massages, scrubs and beauty services rejuvenate both mind and body – or pamper themselves poolside under the shade of a cabana at the Mariposa Pool (one of three pools on site). Little thrill seekers will love the 27-metre-long waterslide at Redwood Pool; budding artists can stretch their creative muscles with a guided walking tour about the Arts and Crafts Movement and how it how it influenced the hotel’s architecture.

For classic Disney fantasy: Disneyland Hotel
Sleek and stylish, Disneyland Hotel pays homage to the park’s original ‘lands’ – Adventureland Area, Fantasyland Area and Frontierland Area – through its whimsical rooms, retro-themed pools and themed dining. Bespoke furnishings – like light-up Sleeping Beauty Castle headboards – and wake-up calls from your favourite characters inject magic into each morning, while two towering monorail waterslides provide excitement all day long. For something a little more serene, lounge in the Mickey Spa and Minnie Spa whirlpools or cool off in the E-Ticket and D-Ticket pools.
Wave hello to chef Goofy and his pals at Goofy’s Kitchen or dine alfresco under tribal lanterns at Tangaroa Terrace Tropical Bar & Grill, enjoying Big Island bites like marinated short rib, fresh poke bowls and hot ramen. Mystery and adventure await at Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar, inspired by the world-famous Jungle Cruise. Sip on a Shipwreck on the Rocks or Krakatoa Punch while snacking on panko-crusted long beans and takoyaki with unagi and togarashi aioli, the perfect nourishment after exploring magical kingdoms.
Disneyland Hotel is also home to the brand-new The Villas at the Disneyland Hotel, offering studios and villas with family-friendly facilities such as kitchenettes, washing machines and separate living spaces. With its own palette-shaped pool and art-filled Palm Breeze Bar – plus access to all the fantastic amenities at Disneyland Hotel – it’s the perfect spot for those looking to enjoy a little extra privacy.
For Pixar magic: Pixar Place Hotel
The Pixar Place Hotel brings the magic of Disney animation to life, as the only hotel in the world to celebrate the films of Pixar Animation Studios. Themed rooms feature beloved characters like Woody, Buzz, and the Incredibles, inviting guests to indulge in worlds of whimsy while also relishing in the convenience of contemporary ensuites, plush bedding and access to Disney California Adventure Park, located across the street from the hotel.
Stop by The Sketch Pad Café, where you can admire sketches showing the evolution of Pixar characters as you grab a delicious breakfast pastry or return from a day of adventure for plates of American comfort food at Great Maple Modern American Eatery.
A Nemo-inspired pool deck and splash park are bound to bring joy for families looking to cool off, with the 186-foot-long Crush’s Surfin’ Slide and the toddler-friendly Nemo’s Cove sitting next to private cabanas and daybeds. Plus, the third-floor pool deck offers a prime spot to catch the Disneyland Resort firework show (on select nights).
