- Departure Point: Shed One, Queens Wharf, Wellington Waterfront (beside Dockside Restaurant and Fergs Kayaks)
- Please arrive up to 15min prior to departure time if you can
- Arriving by cruise ship: Please take the free port operated shuttle bus into the city and get off at the first stop called ‘Shuttle Stop #1 Brandon St’. From there walk down Brandon St to the Wellington Waterfront. Turn right and follow the water’s edge until you see Switched on Bikes signs - we’re right beside Dockside Restaurant and Fergs Kayaks. You can find a map under ‘Contact’ on our website or just put Switched on Bikes into Google Maps - they’re about a 6 min walk from the bus stop
Important:
- Riders must be 145cm tall (4’8). Riders of this height will just be able to touch their toes to the ground
- Minimum age 13 years, and all children must be accompanied by an adult if under 18
- A moderate level of fitness is recommended for this experience. You don’t need to be a bike riding expert to participate in this tour, but must be comfortable riding a bike
- This route uses shared paths, on-road cycle ways and regular roads

- Tea or coffee at cafe stop is included in the price but you can choose to purchase a snack if you like. Any excess amount must be paid directly to the vendor
Terms & Conditions:
- The tour requires a minimum of two people to go ahead. The tour operator will be in contact prior if they don’t reach two riders for your selected date
- If the weather isn’t suitable and safe for riding, the tour operator will provide a full refund
- Itinerary is subject to change depending on availability, weather and road conditions
- Switched on Bikes cannot be held accountable for any tour cancellations or changes caused by weather conditions, road hazards, vehicle malfunctions, or other unexpected circumstances that may impede the scheduled tour. Switched on Bikes retains the right to cancel or alter any trip due to uncontrollable factors, including but not limited to weather conditions, mechanical issues, as well as limited or unavailable parking on-site
