What you'll love...

The Accommodation – Five-star luxury on the water's edge

Located in the heart of St Julian, a quaint seaside town known for its white-sand beaches, The Westin Dragonara Resort is one of Malta's best five-star hotels. Offering the largest guest rooms on the island, you will enjoy a balcony with views over the Mediterranean Sea along with luxurious Westin amenities.

A sophisticated haven boasting a long list of state-of-the-art facilities, including a fitness studio, two outdoor pools and two private beach lidos with direct access to the pristine waters of the Mediterranean, The Westin Dragonara Resort will be your oasis of peace where to retreat after a long day of exploring.

The Experiences – Colourful villages, magnificent cities, fascinating cathedrals and glorious natural landscapes

Lose yourself in the history of the famous Three Cities, an intriguing insight into Malta's maritime fortunes. Known as Vittoriosa, Senglea and Cospicua, these three cities are the cradle of Maltese civilization, as they have been fortresses and homes to almost everyone who settled the islands. Walk along Vittoriosa's ancient streets brimming with churches, palaces and forts, before heading to the waterfront to take in the imposing Sant'Angelo fort, the oldest fortification on the archipelago.

Board a traditional dgħajsa, a Maltese water taxi, and admire the island's watch towers all sculpted with different symbols, including the famous Guard Tower with its eye, ear and crane bird, representing guardianship and observance protecting the Maltese shores.

Enjoy a scenic coastal drive taking you all the way to Marsaxlokk, a traditional Maltese fishing village dotted with low-rises houses commanding the waterfront and boasting a permanent fleet of brightly coloured luzzu (traditional fishing boats) swaying in the harbour. Here you will have the chance to experience a slice of the real Maltese life, with a visit to the incredible Fish Market.

Built by the Knights of St John, 'a city of palaces built by gentlemen for gentlemen' as its founders proclaimed, UNESCO World Heritage-listed Valletta is a charming city bejewelled with fascinating cathedrals and glittering palaces. Admire the third largest dome in the world standing in front of Mosta Dome, walk the historic cobbled streets around St. John’s Co-Cathedral, and marvel at the Grand Master's Palace, with its magnificent halls and exotic tapestries.

Step back in time with a visit to Gozo, Malta's sister island, and let history and natural beauty be your travel companions for the day. From fortified cities dating back to the Bronze Age to white-sand beaches, Gozo has it all – including one of the most important archaeological sites in Malta: The Ġgantija Temples in Xagħra. Perched in splendid isolation, this site consists of two temples, dating back to between 3600 and 3200 B.C, renowned to be the largest megalithic temples in the islands.

Time stands still in Malta's former capital city, Mdina, a labyrinth of narrow, winding streets dating back to medieval times, leading to imposing bastions, cathedrals, Siculo-Norman palaces and beautiful baroque buildings.

The Food – Discover Malta's tasty cuisine through exclusive dining experiences

Throughout this fascinating tour, your foodie side will be well and truly looked after with exclusive dining experiences.

After a full day immersed in history, take in marvelous views of Valletta's Grand Harbour while enjoying a food tasting: discover the strong Sicilian and English influences as well as Spanish, French and Maghrebin as you taste your way through traditional snacks and delicacies, like Maltese Pastizzi and Maltese Bajtra liqueur.

When in Gozo, indulge in a sumptuous three course lunch with your fellow travellers at The Boathouse, one of the best restaurants on this idyllic island.

Enjoy a lavish three-course lunch in one of Rabat's finest restaurants.

Become a wine connoisseur with a memorable wine tasting session at Meridiana wine Estate: learn the secrets of wine making, sample different wines paired with local cheeses, and take in stunning views over Malta's old capital city, Mdina.
