Expand your culinary horizons with an 11-course dining experience like no other at nel., winner of 13 Chef Hats and one of Sydney's most distinctive fine dining restaurants. Offering a themed menu, the fifth chapter of the wildly popular 'Once Upon a Time' concept features dishes centred on Chef Nelly's favourite characters and scenes, designed to bring out the inner child in diners. With tales of coconuts, dead men’s chests, street rats and pussycats, it’s a menu sure to surprise and delight, so don't miss out on this magical evening!

  • Lucky Cricket: Purple puffed 'prawn toast', topped with a prawn mix of sesame oil, chives, mayo, salt, pepper and black/white sesame seeds
  • Make A Wish: Brick pastry cigar, confit chicken thigh, charred eggplant puree, gastric glace and toasted yeast crumb
  • Deer In The Forest: Grill venison tartar, black garlic and bone marrow aioli, avruga caviar and deer antler tuile
  • Arendelle: Cured ocean trout, cucumber and green capsicum pickling juice, diced green apple, dill oil, green snow, rye croutons, pickled onion snowflake, picked dill fronts and elderflower
  • The Masked Skeleton: Charcoal churros with green salsa and mole negro butter set in a skull shape mould
  • De Vil: Ricotta gnocchi with mushroom/celeriac velouté, seasonal mushroom, mushroom foam/bubbles, black porcini, shio kombu powder and white phlox
  • A Fine Kettle Of Fish: Barramundi spiced with wildfire and lemon myrtle, fish broth, blue potato chips, onion soubise puree (dyed in seven colours)
  • A Young Warthog: Crispy roast pork belly, carrot puree, smoked yoghurt, confit carrot balls, charcoal ginger crumbs, pork sauce with harissa, carrot tops, flowers and mustard leaves
  • The Pixie Hallow: Ginger brulee custard, caramelised coconut sponge, blood orange sorbet, blood orange pulp, green feather tuile and frozen golden sweet pastry crumble
  • King Louie: Banana and white chocolate cream with banana skin caramel, Joconde, roasted white chocolate and peanut butter brittle, and caramel rum custard
  • The Glass Slipper: Pumpkin-spiced high heel–shaped chocolate bonbon
