In the unfortunate event that you do test positive to Covid-19 whilst on tour (or any person in your travelling party), our team will assist as much as possible to find available accommodation for your required isolation period. We can also assist with providing you options for your onward journey once the isolation has been completed.
Please note, whilst Luxury Escapes can assist in a support capacity, it is the customers responsibility to arrange their isolation and onward journey themselves. Guests will also be responsible for any additional expenses incurred in the event they or any person in their travelling party, requires testing, quarantine or becomes infected with Covid-19.
Please refer to the Covid19 Health and Safety Acknowledgements here. Luxury Escapes recommends purchasing travel insurance as soon as possible after purchase and ensuring that you have adequate cover to meet your individual circumstances and needs.
If you are unable to depart on your tour as a result of Government travel restrictions, even right up to the day of departure Luxury Escapes will assist you with a date change, provide you with a credit or process a refund for your booking less any non-recoverable costs.
Luxury Escapes collaborates only with trusted partners in each destination, selected for the quality of their service and familiarity with government guidelines. These partners have longstanding relationships with hotels, restaurants, boats, venues and transport providers, all of which are carefully considered for their adherence to local health regulations.
All tour personnel along your tour, from guides to drivers and baggage handlers, are fully trained on health regulations in each destination. Staff health is regularly monitored and temperature checks are conducted as per local requirements, with PPE worn when required.
Tour personnel are working hard to follow best practice from leading health experts throughout your journey – from making hand sanitiser available throughout, to frequent vehicle cleaning (with a focus on high-contact areas such as door handles) and elevated cleaning within hotels and restaurants.
On certain journeys, dependent on local health regulations, you may be required to wear PPE such as gloves and a face mask. We recommend that you bring your own and wear these when local regulations require you to do so. You are welcome to wear these whenever you feel comfortable, even if it is not mandatory in the destination.
