Abercrombie & Kent Announces Peruvian Riverboat for 2025
A new dawn in luxury Amazonian exploration begins with Abercrombie & Kent’s Peruvian riverboat.
A newly unveiled luxury riverboat by Abercrombie & Kent Travel Group promises to ferry guests into the heart of Peru‘s secluded marvels, with the vessel marking the company’s debut in South America’s river cruising realm.
The riverboat features ten double cabins and two singles, each boasting sweeping vistas of the ever-shifting Amazonian landscapes through expansive floor-to-ceiling windows. Guests can book curated three- or four-night itineraries (or combine them for a seven-night journey) to explore the Pacaya-Samiria National Reserve, encounter abundant wildlife and engage with local communities.
Crafted with environmental stewardship in mind, the riverboat’s eco-friendly skiffs facilitate intimate encounters with the Amazon’s myriad wonders, from serene fishing excursions along the Samiria River to exhilarating jungle treks beneath the dense canopy.
Kayaking, canoeing, stargazing and sundowner sessions promise to further enrich the voyage.
“The launch of this new riverboat marks a momentous chapter for Abercrombie & Kent,” said Cristina Levis, CEO of Abercrombie & Kent Travel Group. “This venture embodies our unwavering commitment to delivering experiences that are not only luxurious but also deeply enriching and sustainable. We are excited to introduce our guests to the untold stories and serene beauty of the Peruvian Amazon in a manner that honours and preserves the essence of this remarkable destination.”
