Best time to visit Phuket

Phuket is a year-round destination, but the best time to visit is between November and April, during the dry season. Temperatures are pleasant, ranging from 25°C to 32°C, and there’s little rain, making it perfect for beach activities and island hopping. For a deep dive into Thai culture, consider visiting during the Phuket Old Town Festival in February or the colourful Phuket Vegetarian Festival in September and October. From May to October, the monsoon season brings heavy showers and higher humidity, but if you can brave the rain you’ll be rewarded with fewer crowds.
