How does Travelshoot work?
Travelshoot connects travellers with trusted photographers across the globe, organising relaxed photoshoots resulting in stunning images to treasure forever. To book, simply head to the Travelshoot website to select your dates, location and preferred package. Choose from quick hour-long sessions, perfect for couples or younger children, or longer two-hour and four-hour sessions in multiple locations, ideal for bigger groups and special occasions. Ideally, bookings should be made at least four weeks in advance for the best chance of securing your perfect photographer, but the Travelshoot team has been known to organise shoots within 24 hours.
How do you get matched with a photographer?
Once the Travelshoot team receives your request, the magic begins – within two days, you will be sent an email with details of your recommended professional photographer, along with their portfolio and a list of recommended locations. You will also be connected to your photographer on the Travelshoot portal, so you can liaise directly on custom locations and special requests.
Where will your Travelshoot take place?
Travelshoot photographers are ready to go the extra mile to create those perfect memories – be it an iconic location in the city, a regional property or a remote resort. If the choice of location is within a 10km of the nearest city, no extra travel fee will apply. Should your desired location be more off-the-beaten-track, like an island resort, the Travelshoot team will find competitive quotes for you to cover the photographer’s travel.

With the guidance of local photographers who know their destination best, you’ll discover hidden gems and optimum backdrops you may otherwise have missed. What if I need to reschedule or cancel?
Life happens. If you need to reschedule up to a week before the shoot, the team will do their best to organise a new time slot that works for both you and the photographer, subject to availability, or pair you with an alternative photographer from their extensive network.
Should you need to cancel your Travelshoot session, a full refund is available, providing you give at least four weeks notice ahead of the shoot date.
How long does it take to receive the pictures?
Within 48 hours of your photoshoot, you’ll receive a sneak peek with a selection of sample images. Keep friends and family posted with these teasers until the finished album of high resolution imagery lands in your inbox (with easy-to-download options) within just seven days of the shoot.
