After an early breakfast, meet your tour guide in the lobby for your morning city tour.
Discover Cape Town’s history, culture, and architecture with visits to the 17th-century Castle of Good Hope and Cape Town City Hall, known for its Edwardian design. See the Grand Parade, where Nelson Mandela addressed the nation after 27 years in prison, and visit Saint George’s Cathedral, where Archbishop Desmond Tutu led anti-apartheid marches.
Walk through the peaceful Company’s Garden and explore Bo-Kaap, also known as the Malay Quarter, set against the slopes of Table Mountain. Watch artisans cut diamonds and create jewellery, a craft tied to South Africa’s historic diamond and gold trade.
You can choose to continue your touring and visit Table Mountain for sweeping city views. If the day is clear, you might even see Robben Island, where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned. After returning to the city, the rest of the afternoon is free.
Please note: Table Mountain visit is weather-dependent. Table Mountain is closed to visitors between July – August for annual maintenance.
After breakfast, set off on a full-day tour of the Cape Peninsula, accompanied exclusively by your private guide. Follow a coastal route past Camps Bay and Clifton, known for their powder-white sands, and along Chapman’s Peak Drive (weather permitting), a route built in World War I, where dramatic coastal views await.
The journey continues through the Cape Point Nature Reserve, where wildlife such as baboons, Cape Mountain zebra and bontebok roam among the fynbos-covered slopes. Keep an eye out for tortoises and rare birds as you explore this rugged headland. You may also like to visit the Boulders Beach penguin colony (at your own expense).
Then, explore Cape Point Vineyards, with two tastings included. Known for crisp white wines and French-style reds, the settlements of Paarl, Franschhoek and Stellenbosch offer exquisite dining and scenic vineyards for expert food and wine pairings.

Located in the country’s wild north, Pilanesberg is one of only three such alkaline volcanic ring complexes in the world. This unique crater park features vast ridges and a landscape ideal for spotting wildlife.
Enjoy twice-daily safari game drives in the morning and evening. Look out for over 300 bird species and safari animals like rhinos, elephants and lions.
After hunting in the region resulted in the eradication of much local wildlife, the park began reintroducing species in 1979, including the Cape wild dog. Along with these famous animals, you might also spot the ‘Little Five’: the rhinoceros beetle, leopard tortoise, elephant shrew, buffalo weaver and ant lion.
Back at your lodge, enjoy leisure time with optional activities like guided walks, traditional dance performances or excursions to local villages (surcharges may apply).
