Green Tax: A green tax of US$12 per person, per night, applies to all guests and is not included in your package. Payable directly to the resort.

Blackout Dates & Surcharges: A non-refundable surcharge per room, per night may apply, payable at the time of booking. Dates and prices are identified in the Booking Calendar. Blackout dates may apply.

7-Day Change of Mind ‘No Questions Asked’ Refund Guarantee: Things don’t always work out. Our 7-day Change of Mind Guarantee is there to help. Bookings (except for cruise bookings, flights and deposit fee, if applicable, which are subject to the cancellation terms of the relevant supplier) may be cancelled with a full refund provided that cancellation occurs strictly within 7 days from the date of purchase and provided that the cancellation is made no less than 14 days prior to the check-in date. Excludes flight and service fee, if applicable.

• Cancellations outside of the 7-Day Change of Mind period will not be provided, except as required by Australian Consumer Law, your local law or as otherwise provided for in the Fine Print.

Flexible Cancellation: You can cancel your booking for credit up until 21 days prior to the original check-in date. This can be done via self-service in your ‘My Escapes’ account. Your credit will be valid for 12 months from the date of cancellation. Credits are not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. Excludes service fee, if applicable.

Please note this does not apply to flights booked with us. Flight fulfilment is provided by the airline(s) selected at the time of finalising the booking. For your air travel, you are bound by the terms and conditions and fare rules of the selected airline(s).

Date Changes: If you need to amend your booking, you can self-service unlimited date changes in your ‘My Escapes’ account up until 21 days before your original check-in date. If you can’t find a suitable date, or still need further assistance, please contact our 24/7 customer service team. Subject to availability and surcharges.

• Menus are subject to change without notice.
• All-inclusive offerings may be changed or updated at any time by management. Meal plan is inclusive of GST and Service Charge. Venues and offerings may be changed at the resort’s discretion. Inclusion not redeemable for cash and must be used during stay. Offering is not transferable.
• Daily breakfast is served at Kakuni and is available from 7am–11am daily. It includes a buffet of fresh fruit, wellness bowls and yoghurts, as well as an a la carte menu, cooked to order.
• Three-course a la carte lunch is available at Kakuni from 12pm–3.30pm or Andiamo Bistro and Pool from 11am–6pm daily.
• Three-course a la carte dinner is available at Ocean Grill, Kakuni or White Orchid. Dinner includes starter, main course, side dish and dessert per person. Available from 6.30pm–10pm. Please note that advance reservations are required.
• Free-flow drinks are available during venue operating hours. All drinks purchased before and after these times will be charged as per the resort’s price list.
• The free-flow drink selection includes international beers, spirits, a selection of premium wines, packaged fruit juices, soft drinks, bar nibbles, tea and coffee, still water, plus house cocktails and mocktails.
• Staff reserve the right to refuse service of alcohol.
• All-inclusive dining inclusion is based on breakfast, lunch and dinner. All food purchased outside these parameters will be charged to the guest’s account as per the resort’s price list.
• The in-villa personal bar is refilled once daily with a selection of wines, beers, soft drinks, still water and snacks. Only consumed items will be replenished.
• Advance reservations are essential for the Teppanyaki dinner at White Orchid. Additional charges apply.

Return Domestic Flight and Airport Transfers (Hoarafushi/Hanimaadhoo/Kulhudhuffushi)

• Domestic transfer is a flight followed by speedboat. Please see here for transfer timetables (subject to change).
• Travel time from Malé to JA Manafaru is approximately one hour plane journey, followed by a 10-minute speedboat ride (Hoarafushi to Manafaru), 40-minute speedboat ride (Hanimaadhoo to Manafaru) or 45-minute speedboat ride (Kulhudhuffushi to Manafaru). Please take travel time into consideration before booking international flights.
• Upon arrival at Velana International Airport, guests will be greeted by an Airport Guest Services Agent holding a ‘JA Manafaru’ paging board. They will be escorted to the passenger transfer lounge to await the onward scheduled flight into the atoll. Light refreshments will be provided.
• Transfer schedule timings may be subject to change, depending on the operational processes and restrictions at Velana International Airport (MLE). The resort has no control and takes no liability for this third-party operation, nor the aircraft carriers’ policies or services and/or any schedule, delay or cancellation that impacts your onward travel.
• Domestic scheduled flight transfers run twice daily, and transfers do not operate at night.
• Passengers are permitted one piece of baggage with a maximum weight of 20kg and one additional, smaller piece of luggage with a maximum weight of 5kg. Additional direct charges by the carrier may apply for luggage over the allowed weight limit. Heavy luggage may be offloaded and sent on the next available transfer. Please note this may not be on the same day of travel and the airline’s decision is final in relation to all flight movements.
• If travelling with additional guests, return transfers must be purchased for a surcharge of US$550 per adult (12+) and US$313 per child (2-11), payable directly to the resort. Infants under 2 travel free.
• Transfer costs are subject to change.
• Infants are required to sit on a parent’s lap during the transfers.

Return Seaplane Airport Transfers (select packages only)

• Seaplane flights travel directly from Malé to JA Manafaru resort and take approximately 70 minutes. Please see here for transfer timetables (subject to change)
• Please note that the final departure time for seaplane transfers is 3pm, and guests must check in to their flight by 2pm. Should guests miss this, an overnight stay on Malé will be required at guests’ own expense.
• Passengers are permitted one piece of baggage with a maximum weight of 20kg and one additional, smaller piece of luggage with a maximum weight of 5kg. Additional direct charges by the carrier may apply for luggage over the allowed weight limit. Heavy luggage may be offloaded and sent on the next available transfer. Please note this may not be on the same day of travel and the airline’s decision is final in relation to all flight movements.
