When you’re in Gold Coast, part of the experience is to hit the waves and go surfing. So if you’ve never surfed before, this is the best place to learn how. This activity gives you access to a two hour beginner’s surfing lesson that equips you with a soft beginner’s surfboard, a wetsuit, and sunscreen. You get the basic lesson that enables you to get your bearings in the water and learn the first steps in mastering the Australian beaches. - This 2-hour beginner’s surfing course is fun for everyone, fit for both beginning adults and children!
- Just head to the beach as all equipment you’ll need, from the board to the wetsuit, is included
- Learn from professional instructors who tailor their teaching to your pace. Chinese and Japanese-speaking guides are also available.

How to get there
- By bus: Greyhound bus services operate daily from Brisbane and Byron Bay. Local buses and light rail also run regularly
- By car: Drive for 1 hour south from Brisbane CBD and 45 minutes north of Byron Bay. You will easily find the location opposite the famous Surfers Paradise Sign at the beach end of Cavill Mall

By car: If you are driving along the Gold Coast Highway, you need to turn towards Margaret Avenue, then turn left towards the Kurrawa Surf Club and find a car park nearby
