Located just five kilometres from the mainland, Daydream Island Resort is one of seven islands of the Molle Group, located in the heart of the Great Barrier Reef in Queensland, Australia. The only accommodation on this island, Daydream Island Resort is peacefully set on the island’s esplanade, overlooking the iridescent waters of the Coral Sea and capturing the natural surroundings of the ocean and tropical foliage.
The island can be reached by a 30-minute boat ride from Hamilton Island. Return ferry transfers from Hamilton Island or Airlie Beach are included in your stay, see Fine Print for details.

- The non-motorised equipment hire includes catamarans, kayaks and snorkels. Equipment can be hired from 9am–3.30pm (closed 12pm–1pm) and is weather dependant. Please find the resort activities brochure, here.
- Tour Desks assist guests with bookings of day trips to the Great Barrier Reef and Whitehaven Beach daily. Please contact our tour desks prior to arrival for day trip costs and timings.
- The children’s Cocktaoo Club is open daily from 8.30am–11.30am and again from 12.30pm–3.30pm. Suitable for children aged 4–12 years. Each session incurs a surcharge per child for the entire morning or afternoon session. Activities include painting, arts and crafts, wild fish feeding, outdoor play, kids yoga, rainforest wildlife walk and talk, movies and more. Morning or afternoon tea is included. Please apply sunscreen to your child before they arrive at Cockatoo Club. Children must be toilet trained. Bookings are essential.
- Children staying free must dine with a paying adult. Breakfast is included at Graze Restaurant, while lunch and dinner are included at Salti or Infinity. Valid for one meal from a children’s menu plus one choice of soft drink or juice per child. Not valid for room service or take away. One meal per child, per meal period.
- Dining Credit: The included credit must be used during your stay. Any unused credit will be forfeited and is not transferable or redeemable for cash. Credit can be used at any onsite restaurant or bar (excludes minibar and room service). No minimum spend applies.
