We love visiting this place. The canals and atmosphere in the shops are so beautiful. It really feels like you're in Italy. We rode in the inside gondola this time around and though quite expensive, it was fun. A little short for the amount you pay, but still nice. The gondoliers even sing to you! The outside gondolas are different from the inside ones... Just fyi. They have a great food court, too! And make sure you check out the art galleries! They also have the wax museum to visit... Lots of great things there!

This was my third stay at The Venetian and probably my tenth trip to Vegas. It’s a beautiful hotel, but for its status and price, you’d expect top-tier, five-star service—and that just isn’t the case. My friends and I love to gamble. They always stick to The Venetian, while I like to mix it up. This time, I got a rewards card and decided to follow their lead. After an hour and a half at the slots, we had only been served one drink—service was incredibly slow. We finally ordered a second round, but after 40 minutes, we flagged down another waitress to check on it. She told us the previous server had left, hadn’t passed along any orders, and was actually quite rude about it (and yes, we always tip with every order). Apparently, our drink order had just been discarded. Normally, we’d spend six-plus hours at the slots, but we decided to take our money elsewhere. The fun of Vegas gambling includes the drinking, too! The rewards desk was another headache—we waited over an hour to resolve an issue with my friend’s account. But what really put me off was the ridiculous cost of basic amenities. With all the money you spend here—on the casino, restaurants, and room—you’d think they could at least provide complimentary drinking water. Instead, a bottle of Evian from the in-room bar was $16. Absolutely outrageous. I don’t care how much money I have—that’s just not okay. I went downstairs to the shops, and even the vending machines were nearly as expensive. Meanwhile, budget hotels at a fraction of the price offer free water and coffee in the room. The morning was far from relaxing. Housekeeping knocked at 8 AM, trying to clean the room—even though we were checking out that day. Later, I requested a late checkout to get some work done, but the constant drilling from construction above made it impossible to focus. To top it off, housekeeping knocked again, trying to rush me out. At that point, I just gave up and left. The parking for an oversized vehicle is a nightmare. On the plus side, the restaurants are all amazing within the hotel, especially Tao! Pools were also beautiful and bar service at the pool was great. Overall, for the price and reputation, I expected much better.

the big price tag was not worth it. our biggest reason for staying here was the tunnel to the sphere. they closed the tunnel and had guests walking in freezing weather. they wouldn’t say why it was closed either. we found garbage in our room in a highly visible spot under the chairs, leaving me to believe it wasn’t properly cleaned. room service came once in the 4 days we were there, so we had to call and request clean towels. the left sink drained slowly, so we had to share the other sink. I don’t know if the venetian just doesn’t have slippers but for that price tag, I was expecting at least a cheap pair of slippers to be provided. one of the good things is the venetian only had suites so every room is large. there’s space to spread out your luggage and not clog up the room. I don’t know if they’re understaffed or what, but the service was the biggest issue it seems I do highly recommend checking out canyon ranch on the 4th floor. they are fantastic. book an appointment early in the day and you can spend the time after your appointment checking out the different relaxation rooms they have. very worth it
