Mercure Hotel in Naha, Okinawa is an excellent hotel to stay at. Enjoyed my five days here at the hotel and they were great. The rooms are very spacious, clean, and large. I like the amenities they give, so you don’t have to worry about bringing a toothbrush and so forth. The hotel, is large and is very spacious. The breakfast buffet on the first floor is quite nice. I like how they change it up every day, some days taco rice other days curry. Food was overall good, enough to get you through the morning. The hotel is also very walkable for when you want to go into Okinawa centre. The monorail system is right there which makes it so convenient. Overall, I enjoyed my stay here. I’d come back to this hotel if I’m staying in Okinawa again. It was great. 4.5/5

I stayed at this hotel with my sister for 3 nights in early January 2025, and it was an excellent experience. The hotel is incredibly clean, with daily housekeeping done perfectly. The room (1205) offered a stunning view of Naha city, and everything was well-maintained. The beds were comfortable with clean linens, the air conditioning worked well, and there was a fridge in the room. They provide high-quality bathroom amenities in generous quantities, as well as pajamas, which was a nice touch. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, and I want to specifically thank Gabriel for assisting in locating my lost mobile phone in Naha on the way from the airport to the hotel. The location of the hotel is ideal, close to major attractions and with excellent transport connections, yet the rooms are quiet and peaceful. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for its cleanliness, comfort, and outstanding service. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The staff were so kind and accommodating! Our check-in experience was easy and very helpful. As we arrived at a time when the typhoon was on its way, the check-in staff gave us extended check-out in case we needed to change our plans due to the weather. The staff also eased my nerves about the car park elevator as I had never used one before and found the process quite nerve-wracking. The rooms were clean, quiet, and perfect for a girl's trip. the location was perfect as we were right next to the monorail and some convenience stores so a snack was never too far away. i will absolutely be back!

The lcoation of the hotel is good and convenient. But the room was much smaller than expected. There were barely enough space to move around, and the photos on the website were misleading. The lack of space made it difficult to relax or store our luggage comfortably. It impacted our ability to enjoy our time in the room. The hotel staff were also not very friendly. We tried to check in at about 2pm, as we have booked a total of 4 rooms, but the hotel staff refused to register our rooms 1st, even though the rooms are Not available for check in at that time. Its just an hour away to our check in time of 3pm. Can't you just register all our passports first, and when we come back after 3pm or so for the check-in, you just need to issue us all the room keys, so we dont have to waste time checking in and registering for the rooms when we return after 3pm. Another issue we faced with this hotel was, we are NOT granted access to use the Lounge becos we did not book this hotel directly with Mecure or Accor, we booked it via another 3rd party website (Agoda), and even though some of us are Accor Members, we are still not granted the access to use the Lounge. The hotel staff were very insistent and keep insisting that ONLY bookings made directly with Mecure or Accor are allowed to use the Lounge. We are also PAYING Full price for the hotel stay and we are hotel guests, we just dont understand why there is such a restrictions policy, its just a lounge. We just want to gather, have a chat and chill at the Lounge area as the rooms were sooooo small and cramp for us to gather during our stay. It would be helpful if the hotel could clearly state any lounge restrictions at the time of booking or offer alternatives to affected guests It would be helpful if the hotel provided more accurate room descriptions and photos. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel if room size is important to you. While some aspects of our stay were pleasant, these few issues was frustrating and made us feel that we didn’t receive the full experience we paid for. However, it may be okay for solo travelers or short stays. Twin sharing is NOT advisible at all for this hotel, as we literally have NO space to open our luggages at all, you dont even want to go back to the room to rest, cos its SO cramped!
